I did not buy a mask, but I did buy a NovaaLab belt meant for pain relief.  It's red light and near Infrared light and the nm's are the same as the masks are.  It was still pricey, but not AS pricey as the masks.  I have not been religious with it.  I started out at 3X/week since.  I could pretty much count on DH being away from the house those evenings, so that was my reasoning.  I do not want him to see me using it.  I was embarressed enough when he saw me using my Hairmax headband.  No, he didn't make fun of me or anything, it's just my desire or privacy.

I was good at 3X/week for awhile, but things have changed and I have gotten lazy with it, so sometimes I'm doing good to get 1X/wk in.  That was this week.  I just did my treatment about half an hour ago.  My results?  I couldn't really say.  As I understand it, it can take months for the results to kick in, and I added Tretinoin and the Timeless serum into the mix after starting the mask.  So, I can only give you the results of the 3 combined.  BTW, it IS a total pain to use and I have to do 2 sessions each time to get my entire face, so 20 minutes total every time. It also messes up my hair.

I'm definitely happy with my results although some days are better than others.  The first thing I noticed was that my lip lines had become softened.  They're still there, and I think of them much like a kink in a hose.  You're never going to actually get rid of them, but you can build up the support underneath so they don't "kink" as bad.  So, when I un pucker, the lines go away quicker than they did before.  I also noticed my jowls had lessened somewhat.  I can still tighten that area a bit when I do the facelift thing with my fingers, but they're not as noticeable TO ME.  I think my marionette lines are also softened as long as I don't look down and see mysef in my phone camera.  Eeek!  Just the other day I also noticed my 111 lines also seem to be softened and the ones on either side of the 1 are almost nonexistent, at least on a resting, no expression face.

As I said above, the lip lines results could be due to Timeless or Tretinoin, but it also could be because the LED belt I use rests directly on them whereas the masks have a hole cut out around the mouth.  I don't know anything about the LED mouthpiece some here bought.

All in all I am happy with my results; however, I rather doubt anybody I know notices any difference.  So, it's more about how I feel about my looks than what others are seeing.

OMGosh, never look DOWN into a mirror.  You're just asking for trouble lol

Which Timeless serum are you using?

How do you lay the "belt" on your face?  Do you have to move it around?

@monicakm , Usually what happens is that I'm getting ready to take a pic with my phone and I either may have left it in Selfie mode or change it over to Selfie mode and happen to look down in it before I move it up to the proper angle to take one.

I use the Timeless in the pink bottle, the Matrixyl Synthe'6.

I use CurrentBody's mask everyday. It helps reduce redness for me. That's mostly why I use it. CB's mask is red-light only.

@hi @SilleeMee  Well it's been six months or some since last treatment for "cool peel"?

Well, after about 2 months the redness went away and I am very happy with the results so far.  I think it was well worth it.

People say my skin is flawless and glowing.  What do they know.. but again I am happy I did it with very good results.

Oh my... I just read the paper today and there is something called Elllacor.

Have not had the time to look it up but will tomorrow.  It looks promising.  There will be downtime 3 days?  When they say that it's 10 for me. lol.  Will report back on my findings.

The bit I read is it wil take an inch or more of old sagging skin on face and neck which will NOT return.  I'll research it again.

@monicakm I realized while stretching at the gym this morning that I never answered this question.

I don't just lay it on my face.  I wrap it around my head and use the provided "belt" with velcro on both ends to wrap around and hold it in place.  Horizontally, that covers from my scalp to the tip of my nose.  I figured the masks were touching the face, so i wanted it to touch particularly on my forehead.  I hold the corners down to make sure the jaw area gets contact too since I feel like just a little tightening there helps with jowls and lower marionette lines.  That's 10 minutes

Then, I turn it vertically and wrap the provided belt around my head over the lip area.  Vertically, it doesn't completely cover the width of my face thus the reason I hold it as I said above.  I do try to push it in to treat the neck, but the belt with the LED's is a little stiff, plus I wear turtlenecks a lot during winter.  That's another 10 minutes.

I do this while laying on the bed and the cord is just barely long enough.  It does have a pocket for a battery bank, but since I can't do anything anyways, might as well just plug it in and lay on the bed.

@Pink123

Good to see that your results have turned out so good. I love it when things go well!

That needle procedure looks fascinating, I googled it and read about it. wow.

@Pink123  I was curious so I read about Ellacor, even though I couldn't afford it if I wanted.

The procedure sounds interesting, but needles going into the face would turn me against it. They say there is little down time, but that's not a guarantee. It could be weeks before healing is complete. I'm too cowardly to try a new facial procedure that might not work for me, but if you decide to get the treatment let us know how you like it.

@SilleeMee  I know right?  I knew they would come up with something else.

I will keep watching this. Smiley Happy

I checked out the Ellacor and it appears limited in practitioners who do the procedure in my area.  Closest is about 100 miles away.  Curious......

Omnilux has just introduced RLT "patches" to concentrate results. You can read about it on their website.
