Purchased once and returned it. It did nothing for me and in fact looked worse.

I've bought her Balance & Brighten in a kit with eye liner and blush. I kept it but have just used it occassionally, sometimes lightly over other foundations. I purchased her Kajal eye liners and they were just awful. I tried them several times and were very bad for me.I've kept them but what a waste.Never after.

I know she has a big following but not everything works for everybody. I notice when she does Jane T. makeup, I think Jane looks like she was dipped in flour. Jane raves but nothing makes her look better with Laura's. I don't think the older models look improved, either.

For me, you can talk about it being baked into a hydrating cream, but on me and older others I've seen, it looks like it emphasizes and lands in every wrinkle.

I like Laura and I nevertheless watch her for interesting knowledge, but I don't buy.

@febe1  JT should not be modeling any makeup in my opinion. When you have that many wrinkles NOTHING will look good. The bad thing is willturn away people with no wrinkles because they will think that it will make them look worse.

@SweetSpice - Yes, Spackle is a primer is recommended no matter the form of foundation that's going over it.  IMO, the shade version is a matter of preference.  I use a few different ones.

Re: LAURA GELLER CHAMPAGNE SPACKLE August 31

I Love LG Spackle !  Finally caught the LG Live show today with a near- 2 for 1 deal on Champagne Spackle!  YAY!  It's my OG favorite then Laura went and discontinued it.  I think she changed the formula but I ordered it.  I don't use a lot of face makeup but LG Spackle is the Bomb of Possibility.

Not a fan but like a lot of LG products. It always made my face seem sticky. I wear only bareMinerals makeup and would use her Spackle only on occasions I wanted it to last throughout the day (for meetings, etc., when I couldn't freshen up the makeup.)  It just always seemed too heavy for my skin. I have been told by more than one aesthetician that I have weird skin, it's dry on the outside but oily underneath, so that may be why it doesn't work for me.

I always liked the Mattifying Spackle but I do think it is now discontinued so wont be buying any of them. This one also had blurring properties.

Bought it once years ago. Made absolutely no difference.

Also bought it once years ago and sent it right back.  Terrible for me.  Won't be trying it again.  IMO I don't need anyone's primer and I have tried a couple other ones. Cat Happy

Let me tell you my Spackle story.  I had never used primer before so I gave in when I saw Laura Geller demonstrating the product.  Before using primer I would always wear more blush than needed because by lunch time most of the blush would disappear.  I wore the Spackle and put on my excessive blush as usual.  The primer worked.  The blush didn't fade and I looked like a clown the whole day.  I learned to wear less blush when using the primer.

@SweetSpice - Spackle is one of my HG's! I even wear it by itself when I'm not wearing foundation.

I've been wearing it so long that there were just a few choices when I started. My favorite, Champagne, was limited. I actually rationed it because it gave me such a pretty glow. I wore Regular most of the time.

Eventually Champagne became easier to get, and now that is the only one I wear. I'm light and warm complected. DD is very fair and cool complected. She wears Ethereal. It gives her a creamy look.

I put on Spackle right after sunscreen. I let it dry some while I gather the rest of the makeup I'm going to wear. Then I put on my foundation.  Smiley Happy
