I know of people who do afternoon weddings and receptions and then another that starts at 5:00 or 6:00 but none that don't start until 9:00. 

 

I cannot imagine eating dinner at 10:00 or after.  I would be sick if I ate that late. 

 

   


@Lipstickdiva   My wedding dinner didn't begin until 11:30. To hold guests off, there was a cocktail buffet with heavy hors d'oeuvres at 7. 

 

With Covid and weddings having to be postponed, I think venues and hours have changed.

Yes!  Desserts and a coffee bar sound perfect...if you don't mind drinking coffee that late (as I'm drinking my second glass of cold brew at 5pm)
