L'Oreal Magic Perfecting Base and MagicSmooth Souffle Makeup

Reading through my April edition of InStyle magazine, I noticed a $2 coupon in the ad for theses products. I'm looking for a new foundation. Currently I use Smashbox primer and more expensive foundations but I'm getting tired of paying the extra money when I'm not sure these work any better. The L'Oreal ad states it blures pores and lines and makes skin velvety soft. I don't know if the Magic Perfecting Base Primer is new or not-I don't think I have seen it advertised in the past but may just not have noticed. Has anyone used these L'Oreal products? Your thoughts on the primer or foundation?
