I recently bought the hand cream sampler ("on sale")  & as much as i like their hand cream, I did not expect the sizes to be so small..the smaller size maybe good for 1-2 used ands the "larger" size maybe good for 2-3 uses.  Not much product for what came out to be all most $100.  And not good for gifting unless you repackage...came in bubble warp like it came from a bulk store.

Spoiler

I couldn't believe the price for those tiny tubes when they presented it.  I'll stick with my Avon Moisture Therapy hand cream.

Nothing works better for me on dry skin than Alpha Skin Care Body Lotion.  The 12% Glycolic Alpha Hydroxy Acid (AHA) gets rid of dead/dry skin.

It's my new fave too - been using it for a few months after someone mentioned it here.

It got rid of the crepey skin on my arms too.

Regarding the L'Occitane tubes - cut them open - there's a lot more inside that you can't get out.  They are teeny though.

@DebNYC31   I like the sampler sets at Christmas time that are 4-6 in a pkg. to keep in my car and in my purse. Expensive yes and L'Occitane has always been a high end brand, but the shea butter hand creams cannot be beat. larger sizes can be purchased on their site and Q sometimes has the shea hand cream w/ a bath oil or gel.

About the Alpha lotion...

There is a lot, and I mean a lot, of product left on the inside of the bottle when you think it's empty. If you can do it, cut the bottle open ( use a box cutter carefully) and then use a spatula to get the remaining stuff out. Use a baggy to cover the cut bottle so it doesn't dry out.

@Shanus  I agree. You can also get them from Amazon at L'Occitane's regular price. They're Prime, so you get free shipping. As I said in another post about this sampler, this was a good buy, but you have to understand the sizes being offered. In general, QVC's bundles are good buys if you like all/most of the components.

@DebNYC31  As a point of reference, L'Occitane's regular sized hand cream comes in a 5.2 ounce tube. The sample sizes Shana likes for her car and purse are 1 ounce and the teeny ones in the pack the you bought are .3 ounces. I've been able to buy 1.7 ounce tubes at their Williamsburg outlet. As another poster mentioned, I cut the tubes open to squeeze every last bit of the creams out. After I use it on my hands, I rub my finger along my lips to soften them up. It's better than many lip balms.
