Hello All,

My friend has keratin treatments done at a local salon for $50. She has it done twice a year, and uses both a special keratin shampoo and conditioner. She washes her hair every 2 to 3 days.

I did some investigation on the internet, and it seems this charge is super-low. Most treatments seem to go for $250. and up. One site said you need to watch out for a high percentage of formaldehyde in any given product.

I have to admit, her hair looks great.
