Has anyone tried her new line? Just curious. TIA.

Yes, I tried a set with Miracle Balm (bronze), eyeliner, shimmer eyeshadow and mascara. I really wanted to love the balm but I did not. It looked like mud on my face. I’m not fair complicated It is also very sticky/tacky. I could not exchange because they do not allow exchanges on sets (?). The eye liner was nice. The eyeshadow was SUPER sparkly-I gave it to my 13 yo granddaughter. She loved it 🤩. I have not opened the mascara yet. I so wanted to love all of this but, sadly, did not. I’m hesitant to order again as I felt like this was a waste of money. Hopefully, we hear from others who had better luck.

@mare54

I haven't seen any YouTubers say anything positive about it. There have been a couple who have tried to make it sound good but they failed miserably

@mare54   I tried items in the line and did think they felt greasy and sticky even on my dry skin. BTW, Jones Road is not new and out for years. New products have been added like foundation( in a jar that you had to dip fingers into) and I think bronzers.

It's a pass for me. If you'd like to try similar makeup, RMS is better IMHO.

I had no idea Jones Road has been around for years.  I didn't hear about it till I read about her selling her line and then this one showed up.  I have to wonder, as a respected makeup company, how she thought this product was a good idea Smiley Surprised

I believe the line launched in October of 2020.  She needs a legacy company to come along and buy it like happened with the original BB line when it had been out around 4 years.

Thank you everyone for your comments. I like the old Bobbi Brown. Don't think I'll be buying this.

@monicakm   Bobbi has always had very dry skin and while owning BB, she included a balm-like, heavy moisturizer since she needed one, too. It's still in the line today under the name "Extra" Moisturizers, Extra Eye creams, etc.

I think Jones Road also addresses those w/ dry skin and no pores that show when the surface of the skin is too shiny/dewey..

I tried one of her moisturizers once.  It was too emollient and broke out my face.  I always thought I had a near invincible complexion till I tried that.  I think it was called Face Base??

@monicakm  Lol. Face Base is gel based but does have shea butter in it. Some women react to that. The EXTRA line in BB is a balm...have to warm it up in your fingers before application.
