Re: Just so tired...

[ Edited ]

Help me out here.  This is a beauty forum where we discuss all things beauty whether it's skincare devices, cleansers, exfoliation, essences, serums, creams, collagen, the impact of diet, habits and supplements on skin health, all areas of makeup, hair products, you name it.

I understand likes and dislikes, if something worked great or not at all, pricing, dupes, etc. I don't understand being a member of such a place if you feel negatively about products or vendors.  I mean, what keeps you here then? And why start trashing various items and practices and making certain insulting comments toward people who are here because they like them and share about them since that's the purpose of this forum?

I can back up what @SilleeMee says.  I use the same lasers she does and commitment is the key.  You must use them regularly.  The NIRA Pro+ has been a game changer for me.

I could never commit to using a device like that everyday.  I will live with my "aging" 72 year old face. LOL.

With discussion comes different points of view also known as opinions.  Opinions can be negative or positive. Period.  It does not mean one is "trashing", just sharing one's point of view. We do not live in a perfect world!

Well said @JeanLouiseFinch .  Why would someone come to the beauty forum if one is tired of all beauty?

I enjoy learning about different products here and will never stop using beauty products.

My expectations are realistic and I'm pleased with what I'm using.

@Q-Checker  I've also been using the Trader Joe's balm that comes in a tin for years now. They don't always have it but when they do I pick up a couple. It is great for nails and a tin lasts a long time. It's called Head to Toe Moisturizing Balm and can also be used wherever you have rough skin,

The other TJ beauty items I enjoy are

Vanilla Lip Mask - I have chronically dry lips and this works

Night Cream w/ Irish Sea Moss Extract (unscented)

Supreme Hydrating Eye Cream

Hope you find something that works for you!

Would I be able to use that NIRA while sitting in the LR watching a TV show?

Yes. Have a mirror in front of you so you can see where to 'flash'. Needs attention so I'm not sure how much TV watching you can do during treatments.

I agree with consistency!  I've used the same drugstore products for 20+ years. Cleanse my face and rinse thoroughly twice a day and apply the same products.  Keeping my skin happy and healthy is the most important to me.  And wear a smile - makes ya appear more youthful.

Also agree with others above that I've lived a long life (77 years) - I've laughed, cried, frowned, made faces, sunbathed, and earned every dark spot and wrinkle I have.  I'm proud of them.

We don't stop laughing because we grow old.  We grow old because we stop laughing.
