There are chemicals in everything. The ones that make it onto the Prop 65 are the ones that may have the potential to be a risk to health.

I finally came to this site because I procrastinate AND I have not used the eye shadow because of that label. I really like the colors...Oh, and I live in CA. I love my state, I hate my state. True. I am thinking that since I am in my 70's that by the time they actually prove that the eye shadow causes cancer I will be long gone. I was looking for info about the warning and thanks, everyone, for explaining it. Now, why did Mally put that in our TSV? ${#emotions_dlg.scared}$

I live in California and never received Warnings on my cosmetics that I have ordered from QVC. Purchased a TSV once from Laura Geller and one from Josie Moran, buy mostly It Cosmetics, Philosophy and Wen.

Why would you want to use something that causes cancer even if your state doesn't require this information on products. Rather be safe than sorry. Or will you just leave this mascara at home if you ever visit California. LOL??? Cancer strikes everywhere. It's just that California has more stringent rules.

Toss the mascara or ask QVC to replace your mascara you received with another mascara from Mally.

I strongly feel this information should be posted on the product page in bold letters.... along with where each item was made and if animal testing is used. I won't hold my breathe though.

People have brought up using the It Cosmetic CC with the snail excretion. Imagine using the mascara every day and thinking what if? Contact QVC and/or toss it.
