That must be a ""before"" photo of her because she looks different on TV! then that picture of her. Could the NYDN have used a worse photo?

I doubt there's any validity to the lawsuit, it's just another person drinking too hot coffee at McD's!!
Since when is sterling silver jewelry (overpriced or not!) costume jewelry? Maybe the diamonique aspect of it is 'costume-like' - but then you could say the majority of jewelry on QVC is costume!
Like her or not, that's one thing. But to refer to her pieces as 'costume' is so off base!

So, her jewelry brand was sold to the same group that owns Liz Claiborne and Mizrahi. Hmmmm. Wonder if they are all owned by QVC or Q is owned by them?
So are all these just QVC house brands now?

I'm more shocked with the part that says she sold her company in 2014.
So she doesn't own any of the stores or have stock in the company anymore? No wonder it looks like mass produced stuff......and totally overpriced. Most of it doesn't even contain real gemstones anymore.
What is she now.....just the spokesperson? Does she still design? Wonder how long it will be before she doesn't do presentations anymore (think Leslie Blodget)
I can't believe the price some people spend on her stuff here at QVC.

Interesting question.
I often wonder that about Invicta on Shop HQ, too -- there must be some tie-in.
QVC doesn't air shows from these vendors as frequently as HQ shows Invicta.

A well-known jewelry designer asked her New York decorator to trade his “jewels” for fancy furniture to furnish her Palm Beach home, the decorator claims in a new lawsuit.
Tristan Harstan, who designed Judith Ripka’s flagship store on Madison Ave., says Ripka told him at least three times in the last nine years to have secks with high-end furniture designer Nancy Corzine.
"’Do whatever it takes,'" Harstan quotes Ripka as telling him.
