Yesterday I recieved a large postcard offering 20% off and free shipping. I checked online today (josiemaran.com) to take a look. Several new scents offered in various formulations as well. New packaging and design and some new products. Of course prices are up and quantity is lower. For example, the body butter is 6 oz. for $36. I always thought it was 8. I cannot justify the prices when so many other good brands offered on Q or HSN have much better deals. Looks like she is catering to a "higher end" crowd?

I really liked Josie, now I'm a bit disappointed. I feel she has abandoned those of us who have led to her greater product success, by moving on to what does appear a "higher end" crowd.

I realize she may have just gotten tired of the grind, but I, for one, would have loved to hear some departing kind words and reasons for her leaving. Otherwise, it's just downright cold and not very thankful for those who have followed her for years.

I certainly won't be hunting for her products now. I'm not the "higher end" crowd and happy for it.

No one knows whose decision it was for Josie to leave the Q - could have been hers, could have been the Q's. Also, there is no way to know if it was the Q's decision to just drop the line and not let Josie say anything to the viewers. Of course, Josie isn't going to be able to give the deals that were once at the Q. It was because the Q was able to buy in such large amounts that they could offer larger tubs of body butter at a better price. Josie can't deal in that kind of quantity.

Sounds like a lot of unfair assumptions are being made. Desiree from IT wasn't allowed to say anything to the viewers either when IT was dropped in September. They were just gone. So before anyone goes blaming Josie for leaving without a word, maybe assumptions should not made as to why and how she left.

@BlueFinch - Her departure was sudden and without warning. It may not have been her choice to leave the Q.
