Josie Maran Tinted Moisturizer ?

Does anyone think this has too much shimmer in it? I just received it in the mail today and was surprised that there was shimmer when I applied it on my hand. I do not remember reading or hearing anything about it having shimmer in it so it was a bit of shock to me.
