Josie Maran Color Stick question

Good morning, ladies! Glad to see we're back up and running this morning! {#emotions_dlg.thumbup}

I received my Josie Maran haul and I received her Color Stick in Pink Petal. I was really surprised when it had an overwhelming chemical smell and it didn't glide on well - it was actually quite sticky in texture.

Did I get a bad one? I thought these were supposed to be creamy. What does yours smell like?
