@Sunshine Kate I have definitely learned to use less so as not to end up a greasy mess, and it is moisturizing, but I don't think it is any better than some of the top drug store brands that you can purchase for much less. I won't be buying any more once this jar is used up. IMHO you can do better.

@Sunshine KateI don't know enough about the ingrediants to give a good answer but I have been very happy with the results I have gotten from using her product. It has worked wonders on my feet - no more rough heels and ankles!

All creams make you feel better but there's something about her body butter that stays with you until your next shower. I especially like it for my dry legs. It's expensive but you don't need very much and you don't need to apply it everywhere if you're looking to save $$.

I believe you're using too much . Did you have any other product on prior to using ?
When my skin is extremely dry, I use about a quarter size per leg or arm . Otherwise I tend to use less .

@Rondafan I was definitely using too much
I'm telling you I felt like a basted turkey. However, with the advice from everyone here, I 've certainly used less. I find it moisturizing, but, for the price, I think I will not be purchasing more. I really prefer my Nivia in the blue tub. I am enjoying the scent of the Josie Maran for a change though.

Where do you buy the Nivia product? I wil try to find it on QVC - would apprieciate if you could share an item number (if available. I have to use a ton of whipped body butter (beekman or josie) during the cold winter months here in upstate NY
Thanks!

@Georgiagrama You are not alone. I purchased a kit from Josie with the body butter and returned it. One reason was the body butter was sticky. I use Laura Mercier's body butter because it is NOT sticky and you only need a very small amount and the scent lasts. My favorite is almond coconut milk. It's $35. I was wondering why Josie's would be sticky but really do not know. I did not use to much and even if I did that would not constitute it being sticky. THere is something in the butter making it that way. ![]()

If you are speaking of Nivea it is not a QVC product. You can purchase this in pretty much any store. Think Target, Wal-Mart, Amazon and such. I would possibly even take a look at Walgreens or CVS.

I buy my Nivia at Wal Mart, but it's not hard to find. In spite of trying just about everything else, I always come back to the Nivia. It lasts thru the next day when you put it on your arms and legs at night, so you don't have to keep applying it, and, it smells wonderful. A nice clean smell.
I won't be buying any more Josie Maran. It's nice, but it certainly doesn't hold a candle to Nivia.
This is also available on Amazon and it's the authentic German made product which contains no toxins.
