Jose Eber hairstyling tools at the mall kiosks?

I was just curious if anyone had ever tried out the Jose Eber curling wands or flat irons from the mall kiosks? I've seen them on Amazon for cheaper. Any one have experience with them??

TIA!

Re: Jose Eber hairstyling tools at the mall kiosks?

Yes, I got "talked" into buying one!  I always avoid these over zealous sales personnel, but not this time..

I have seen this flat iron before (it is the one that vibrates almost like an electronic toothbrush), so I knew the pricing.. I received the flat iron and complimentary (LOL) shampoo, conditioner and hair serum for $100..

I will say it does a great job for flat ironing hair, no kinks and straightens with 1 pass, no frizzies, just smooth straight hair.. I have tried curling with this iron and the curls are nice and last for the day.. My next day hair still had a slight wave, but was smooth and no frizzies..  I don't know if it's the virbration effect, but no tugging or pulling as I was passing it through my hair..

The cons: no temperature control and this iron gets very hot, the cord is shorter than most flat and curling irons, no automatic shut off..

Since I was able to get the iron at a reasonable price (for a name brand iron), I'm okay with it...

I have waist length color treated hair that is not curly, but has that wave that can be more frizzy than wavy.. If I want curls, I prefer the curling "wands" or sleeping in those sponge rollers..

All-in-all it's a good flat iron ~ On a scale of 1 to 10, I rate it an 8..
