"I believe with a little care and attention any woman can look good through her 40s, 50s, 70s and beyond.''

I'm tickled by this news. Joan has always been a beautiful woman in my book, and I might be interested in trying out some of her products.
Boy, she knows how to maintain without looking spooky, doesn't she? Yes, I am sure she has lots of external (and internal, under the skin) help, but I love it!

I totally agree. Why do all of the old Hollywood "drag queens" go into cosmetics after they have had too many plastic surgeries, and suddenly we are supposed to believe they are educated about all sorts of lotions, potions, etc? They want us to buy because of their screen names, characters and how we relate to them. All of the die hards do it. Look at Joan Rivers and all of the others.
It doesn't move me to buy from them. They know nothing about beauty products. They are just looking for a way to make money in their golden years. Sad really. Their Hollywood days are over.
drag queens?
Yes, drag queens because of they way the look at that age. They are so fake, artificial, they remind me of the men who look like almost beautiful women as drag queens, They are just like them because they wear wigs, false teeth, false nails, have had all kinds of plastic surgery, fillers, implants, face and otherwise, botox, padded clothing, false eyelashes , so much make up, they look so artificial, they remind me of real drag queens. Can't believe that needed explaining.

I don't know about "spooky," but the look she sports in the pic posted in this thread is just not my cup of tea, to put it mildly.

What a scam! Joan wears wigs, has had at least one face lift and clearly uses fillers and filtering photo shop in these pictures. Can't believe any woman would fall for this!
Joan has been very upfront about wearing wigs. She's said she's worn them for many years due to the hot stage lights on the set doing a number on her hair. Who of these beauty mavens on tv hasn't had some work done?

I'm not sure she's still relevant but she might be an interesting change of pace from all the recent 'media created celebrities' that came and went...

I watched her début on QVC UK and was impressed at how gracious, well-spoken and funny she was/is. Amazing sense of humor not to mention the stories she has about many of the true Hollywood Legends; all positive and up-beat, I may add.
I would have purchased a few of her products (if it had been possible) based on their concept and range. BTW, she has an amazing book out filled with pictures of those same Hollywood Stars. So much fascinating stuff; again, would have loved to have had a copy with her autograph.
I wish her all the success. : )

I LOVE JOAN COLLINS!!
Alexis Carrington was absolutely fantastic, she's always been my idol and I'm 50yrs younger than her- don't care! I just got her health&beauty book "My Secrets" and it's filled with pictures
She's the definition of old school GLAM <3 I'm hoping I can find her makeup collection in the USA soon!

She was a hoot though. She kept looking at the monitor and commenting to Jeffery how much money they were making.LOL! I guess they have a a counter that tells them how many items are being sold of each item off stage. She kept looking at it and pointing to it. Jeff kept telling her, "Joan, we are on the air". I guess she thought they were off. She wouldn't listen, they finally had to go to "break". Lol!
That woman has been around a long, long time. She has some good stories to tell, if they can keep her on track. She is a true Diva for sure, and very demanding. But she has a quick sense of humor, and is interesting. She has worn wigs for over half of her life. IDK if she had early hair thinning, or she hated her hair. But she has worn wigs almost every public appearance since she was in her early 40's. Her hair always is styled nicely. I think she dresses well.
I remember that! It was so funny. She's say "How much money have we made now?" LOL
