I know Jo Malone has its fan base, and I like few scents as well. What I don’t get is why she doesn’t make her most popular scents is an edp form as I find them too fleeting for the price they cost.

Re: Jo Malone- fast question.

Jo Malone sold her fragrance line years ago. Estée Lauder owns the company.

You would think it would be in their best interest to create edp versions of their scents.

One of the few perfumes that makes me sneeze a lot.  I think there are more synthetic chemicals in the ingredients than natural scents!

@Allthingsgirly67   I like the cologne only because they are so expensive. I also think the fragrances are quite strong and as a perfume would be even more concentrated.

I only have the Basil and Meroli botttle now and discarded the Gardenia and a few others that really entered the room way before I did. It hurt greatly since some were around $100 a bottle, but I just couldn't wear them.

@Shanus  - Why didn't you give them away or donate them?  Seems like such a waste to toss them.

@San Antonio Gal   The ones I discarded were several years old, 1/2 used and I think were beginning to turn a pale yellow.

I feel the same way about cosmetics. The money's been spent and if not enjoying the product, it's taking up space better used by something I enjoy.

[ Edited ]

I wear, and love, several scents from Jo Malone. Other than Velvet Roae & Oud Cologne Intense, I find them to be very light and the scent somewhat short lived. Layering with shower gel and lotion helps a bit with their staying power.

My current favorites are:

Orange Blossom

English Pear & Fresia

Peony & Blush Suede

Red Roses

I don't find any of these overpowering at all.

I also love the previously mentioned Velvet Rose & Oud scent, but that's pretty much my "use it very lightly, special event" perfume.

Re: Jo Malone- fast question.

Pomegranate Noir is one of my favorites for fall and winter.
Also love Velvet Rose & Oud.

I wore English Pear & Freesia a lot during the hot summer months.

Re: Jo Malone- fast question.

But how was the lasting power for the English Pear & Freesia?
