Jill Baurer's inappropriate comment ! Thread Closed for Commenting

So disappointed that QVC would not catch this religious comment while on Philosophy presentation and ask her to apologize!

Probably absolutely nothing. (Absurd post complaining with no explanation of the ""offensive"" comment and misspelling Jill's last name.)

Re: Jill Baurer's inappropriate comment !

You didn't identify the comment you are objecting to......but there is no law stating that religious people can't make "religious comments". That includes on television. QVC is not a "religious channel", but I doubt they require their salespeople to check their faiths at the door; in fact, QVC sells a number of items with religious references (jewelry with religious symbols or sayings, for example, angel figurines, etc.). I have also seen some QVC employees make personal religious references on their blogs. If you encounter religious content that you find offensive on a TV channel, you are free to turn it off.

I believe the comment was ""get down off the cross; somebody else needs the wood"" she said it because she was talking so much that the vendor couldn't get a word in.

Re: Jill Baurer's inappropriate comment !

That sounds more of an insult than a religious statement. What an odd thing to say on air. I didn't see it or hear it, so this is second hand info.
