Yes I had a temporary dark red streak put in a few years back and I liked it and got lots of compliments. They just slowly fade until gone. BTW my hair is white.

I like the look and if I were (much) younger, I would definitely try it.
Right now, I do have two tone hair. Gray has grown out about four inches and the rest is brown hair from my last dye job months ago. Have to decide which way I am going - let it go gray or keep dyeing it....![]()

In my 20s, yes. Especially now you can buy the hair color at the drugstore and wash it out when you need to. I love the look of jet black hair with amethyst or emerald streaks..

No. I spend too much money on my hair color to go and do something silly like that.

About five years ago I wanted pink bangs and my hair dresser just thought I was joking. Each visit, which was not often, I asked to have them. Finally, she gave in and added the color. It barely took on my dark brown hair - just a hint of pink. I loved it for as long as it lasted - just about three weeks!! I was 71 at the time!

Red is as much maintenance as I want. These colors look good for such a short amount of time and then they just look tired until they finally go away. The vibrant color lasts like one or two days.

a few years i wanted to do peekaboo highlights in a pinky burgundy. i did my own bayalage so i could do it myself. but now i'm 13 months out from coloring. so i'll wait until i'm all natural. i have 6" of virgin hair now . i have so little grey except the temple area and a white streak in front. the rest is a blah dark blonde with grey mixed in.

@SilleeMee wrote:Yes! My hair is naturally all black with zero gray. I've always wanted to get some teal blue highlights put in it but I'm too chicken to do it.
@SilleeMee - This picture is stunning! I think you should! I thought this was you for a minute. ![]()

No. Immature.
Reminds me of the Wizard of Oz scene where they keep changing the color of the horses and singing a " Horse of a different color".

That sounds pretty with your curls @Lake4 . Maybe you could get one of those temporary colors and try it?
