@Shanus wrote:@Judaline I agree. This happens to eys when they've been lifted too many times. Alsofiller in the cheek area push up on the eye area making them look smaller...a real trade off. I've never had plastic surgry because i've seen many bad results. Most of the time women look better before they had too much done. Faces can get distorted.
@Shanus how many times have you seen eyes that have been repeatedly lifted?
@CatsyCline Some clients in ttheir 60's have had their lids done at 30 if hooded and then maybe in their 50's the bottom eye area has bags and puffiness and they get a lower "blef". Then can come a brow lift as eyes become hooded again with loss of volume and sagging.
If you look at pics of celebrities in their 20's and then again in their 50's, 60's and 70's, you know if they look close to the same age when they went into the business, they've had multiple procedures done...many times too many and the face becomes distorted.
***Cheek fillers too many times or cheek implants that would hold up the jawline can also make the eyes look "squinty" and narrow.
@Shanus the only odd ones to me were Kenny Rogers because he had a brow lift AND upper bleph. Renee Z had a brow lift plus upper bleph. she may have since had a revision. Christie Brinkley may have had a canthopexy. her eyes are small but the surgery gave her eye a more youthful upturned appearance. still just speculation and when it is ordinary people unless they tell you or you're specifically searching for sutures.

@cheriere I really should've won prom queen! I campaigned and made posters and everything- the friend who "won" wasn't even on the ballet- that's what made the whole thing so ridiculous and unfair. Maybe I'll enter a beauty pageant as an adult- some small towns in other states still throw them for all ages and then I can get my crown
. Yep, I have so many stories about strange and hilarious dates with guys- I honestly don't even know how these guys would've come into my life if it hadn't been for online dating.
.
Oh Cheriere, that weightloss must be stressful to go through! When I had covid I could count my ribs and my wristwatch would slide up to my elbow and my leggings kept sliding off of my hips, it was tough. Here's how you can up your protein intake in little ways to help gain weight back after a sudden weightloss through illness: protein shakes, a high protein cut of meat for dinner, 85/15 fat ground beef burgers and incorporating protein as much as possible into your meals or snacks. I would put walnuts and peanut butter on my oatmeal, peanut butter on apples, I'd eat cheese with my apples. I'd make a sanwich with toppings and grilled chicken breast and cheese or I'd make chicken kabobs with vegetables. Chili is another good weight gainer. Whole milk. I'm not a doctor, but that's what worked for me
.
I think during your next appointment, it never hurts to ask for a referal to a nutritionist because they can create a diet plan to help put weight on. I know a lot about sudden weight loss because of when I got Covid, but also by way of athletics- I was a wrestler in high school for 4 years and I had to have as much muscle as possible and be as thin as possible, so I'd get down to 104-108 pounds and off season I would get up to a healthier 116-120 for my 4'11" bone frame and muscle mass. Protein and weightlifting were my key to getting to a healthier weight. I'm rooting for you, Cheriere! ![]()
You're very intelligent and you're proactive about your health and in tune with your body and so i have absolute full faith in you and how you're monitoring your health and seeing great doctors. ![]()

@SportyShorty07 You should definitely enter a pageant as an adult! You'd win for sure! You're such an intelligent, well spoken, kind, fit, beautiful girl. I can't imagine why you'd not. Have you ever thought of being in the fitness America contests? It's clear that you really are strong and on top of your workout's and meal plans. I didn't know you were 4'11" either. You are tiny but mighty girl! I can't believe you wrestled either! I would've loved it if there was a wrestling team at my high school! I'd have been on it in a heartbeat! No wonder you know so much about fitness and nutrition.
The worst part about this kind of weight loss is you lose it everywhere except where you want lol. That's how it always goes I guess. My gp dr talked to me about protein shakes, but that was about it! She should've mentioned a nutritionist! In fact, I took a screenshot of all the great dietary tips you gave because they're so good! The only other thing my dr actually mentioned was that I should give up my sugar free water mixers and opt for more sugar! Thin or not, I think that's terrible advice! Doesn't mean I should let my sugar consumption make up for this! I'm just having a hard time keeping food down right now. A lot of digestion problems my specialist is looking into. I do trust her. Hopefully, when I go back she'll have some good news for me. 🤞

@cheriere Wow! Thank you so much for such sweet compliments- you are also all of those qualities too and so pretty and fit ![]()
! You should do a pageant too- lets be pageant queens
! Speaking of pageants- have you ever seen the movie "Drop Dead Gorgeous" with Kirstie Aleey and Denise Richards? So funny! I should enter a Fitness America contest or my life dream is to enter an aerobics routine contest since I exerciseto ym huge collection of 80's aerobics VHS tapes. Yes indeed, I was a wrestler and I even dated thewrestling team captain for my last 3 years of high school. I am "tiny and mighty" I love that- I say that all of the time "small and mighty" ![]()
You would've been a great wrestler too with your sportiness.
I'm glad that you liked my protein and nutrition tips- they really helped me after covid and wrestling seasons ended when I needed to get back up to a healthier weight. I'll try to think of more protein ideas for you to put on weight. I agree, adding too much sogar isn't the way to go. I tried to gain weight after covid by eating pints of ice cream and it was gun, but made me feel sick. Definitely slow and steady with vital proteins and nutrients is the way to go. Definitely ask for a nutritiionist, they;re really helpful with creating meal plans and monitoring what works and doesn't. Oooh I tohught of another thing- cottage cheese for brekfast with cut up fruit on top= a fantastic form of lean protein. Turkey borgers with swiss cheese and sauteed mushrooms on top with carmelized onions for lunch or dinner ona whole wheat or standard bun. ![]()

@SportyShorty07 Now I'm gonna have to watch "Drop Dead Gorgeous". I'll bet it's hilarious! I love Kirstie and Denise. But, all kidding aside, you could enter a contest. I didn't know you had a thing for old vhs workout tapes. I can still remember buying Cindy Crawfords workout video in the 90s. I think I burned through a couple copies of it lol.😂
The nutrition tips you offered are awesome! I do eat a lot of chicken, rice, and cheese! Those are some foods I never seem to tire of for some reason.😃. I've just recently started adding more fish and I've been eating a roast beef and Swiss everyday for lunch lol. Oh and I'm eating too much Nutella! I love most ALL foods! 😊❤️. I really appreciate these foods you've listed because I never would've thought of most of them. I get stuck in a rut

@cheriere Thank you so much for your kind words ![]()
! You'll love "Drop Dead Gorgeous"- Kirstie Alley and Denise Richards are so great together in that movie. I own the Cindy Crawford exercise tapes- those are killer weightlifting workouts
. I'm so glad that you like my nutrition tips- roast beef and swiss for lunch sounds delicious
. I love Nutella- sometimes I spoon it on top of cream of wheat with some sliced strawberries or an ice cream sundae, so good
! I get into food ruts too- this week I was on a hot link obsession: I'd grill up a hot link sausage and carmelize some bell peppers and onions and put the hot link on a toasted hot dog bun with the onions and bell peppers and squirt some srisracha sauce on top
. If I get obsessed with a dish that I make, I'll eat it everyday until i grow tired of it.
