@tends2dogs  Thank you so much for such sweet words and compliments, tends2dogs- I bet you are gorgeous too Smiley HappyHeart!  You know- at 35, I'm really surprised I haven't found the one yet either- but I think there's a hunky, manly great husband out there and if it's in my 30's, 40's, etc when I find him, I am ok with that! Smiley Very Happy  I've  known so many girls who have hit their 30's and go into an absolute panic and marry Mr. Not Right or Mr. I Can Fix Him just so that they can meet some 30's milestone of having a husband and I just can't do that.

I've dated guys and have had some good times and heartbreaks and each one makes me stronger and ready to move upward and onward in the man search.  Have I cried over a pint of ice cream? Absolutely Smiley Wink- but when one door closes another opens. I like to make my parents laugh whenever I cook an amazing dinner for them- I make a panicked look and yell out, "Where's my husband?!" Smiley LOL

@cheriere Oh I completely get it- it is hard to get the nerve to post photos- and sometimes we can be the worst critics of ourselves! Do you know how many times I fuss over my hair that can get dry or coarse or my mysterious look to my face or my small green eyes?  I've now learned to look into the mirror, pay myself a genuine compliment and then really roll with that feeling for the rest of the day.   I have a necklace from QVC that I got a decade ago that's heart shaped and says "Always be your own kind of beautiful"  Smiley Happy. It is a motto that I really live by and others should too! Who knew that such a hokey Hallmark QVC necklace could've turned into one of my favorite sayings?! Smiley Very Happy

I LOVE that!  It is so important to remember that...it's just hard sometimes.  I've been sick and that can definitely take a toll on how you look and your self esteem, not to mention getting older. I rarely wear makeup anymore and if I do it's just minimal, lipstick, eyebrows, mascara.  Remember, I'm actually old enough to be on the 50 & Fabulous Show too!  It's like you wake up and start seeing yourself fall apart lol.  Okay, I'm gonna post some before I totally lose my nerve. lol

@cheriere - Oh, you look fabulous, Girlfriend!!!

And I forgive you for doing that "Half-Tuck" (ROFL) Smiley Tongue

@SportyShorty07 - So glad I clicked into this thread and got to see your pic too - You are such a cutie-pie! ♥ - I did picture you as a blonde in my mind, but after seeing your pic, I'm really surprised that "Mr. Right" hasn't found you yet.

I love it that you're willing to wait, and not "settle."

I was 34 when I got married, and we've been together for almost 37 years now. Smiley Wink

@cheriere  I love 50 and Fabulous- I watch it every week Smiley Very HappyHeart! Being sick can take a toll in terms of how we feel- when I got severe covid in 2020, I lost a lot of muscle mass and lost about 35 pounds in almost 2 months- I looked so gaunt and tired and it took a long time to gain the muscle and curves back. Age is so relative- I felt young when I worked luxury retail until they started hiring 19 year old girls to work alongside me- they didn't have any love handles or nasal-labial folds or stretch marks and they wore crop tops ALL OF THE TIME Smiley LOL.  Whether you post a photo or not, truly no pressure from me- just know that you're a beauty.

You know, as soon as I hit 30, I felt "the panick" and I had a t-shirt custom made that says "Jaded Spinster" I wore it when I exercised, I wore it to bed, and I wore it around the house until I realized how funny it was to get so angry and jaded about turning 30- now at 35 I'm thinking, "why was I so scared about aging? What t-shirt phrase can I come up with for this stage of my life?!Smiley Very Happy  Hollywood wants us to believe that as soon as a woman hits 45, she's playing a grandmother on TV and in the real world, 45, 50 and beyond  is when life gets interesting and fun and confident! "Own it" as Mally would say! I have a gal pal in her 60's who goes on cruises and you'd think it was "The Love Boat" based on how many guys check her out as she walks by- age is just a number and beauty does not have an expiration date. Smiley Very HappyHeart  When I see Dakota Fanning's baby-faced sister on anti-aging commercials, I laugh and change the channel.

@LavernLuvsShoes    lol 😂. I'm so glad you noticed that because I posted that half tuck picture for that reason...although I did think I'd chosen the one where I was at least smiling.  Thank you so much.  It's HARD to put yourself out there.

I agree with you about marriage too.  I was with the same man for MANY, MANY years and it was much like a marriage, but technically I've never been.  I'd love to meet someone, fall in love and get married.  It's just so much harder when you get older.  I haven't been on a date in close to 14 years!

Do the tilted hand wave! I love the color coordinated red outfit and the  long blonde hair! Beautiful face, smile and skin etc. head to toe- and look at those cute red sandals! Look up glamour in the dictionary- It's Cheriere! Yay!!

@SportyShorty07   LOL, beauty pageants...Nah, I wasn't the pageant type!  Thank you for being so nice.  My hair would've never grew this long had I not started getting grays.  It seemed to take off then?  I'd just gotten those jeans outta the mail from the Q.  They're PLW and I got them for like $39!  In fact, everything is from there, Fly London shoes and regrettably, Kim Gravel tank.  They're really ill fitted.  Way too oversized.  I was hoping for something more fitted.  So I'm literally QVC head to toe in that picture!

I don't even know where to go to meet a guy anymore.  I really wish I could find someone, but it ain't gonna happen just sitting here I know! lol 😂

@LavernLuvsShoes  Wow! Thank you so very much, my 90 Day Fiance gal pal! I bet you're a beauty too! Smiley Very HappyHeart  Now you have a face to my screenname! I was born a blonde and had blonde hair up to my late teens and it naturally darkened up in my 20's, but gets a lot of blonde back in the summer.  I'm glad I haven't settled and I know my husband is out there, somewhere- he's got to be  Smiley Happy.  Ooh congratulations on 37 years of marriage and getting married at 34! I bet your husband has such a great time with you - you're so funny on the forums! Smiley Very Happy
