Just to clarify: "Real" perfume (parfume or perfume) refers to the most concentrated form of a fragrance; EDP (eau de parfum) is one rung down that ladder; and EDT (eau de toilette) and cologne have the least intensity.

I happen to like several celeb fragrances, but they rarely, if ever, are produced in the highest strength. In fact, these days it seems that EDP is the usually the strongest that is offered.

Here's the complete breakdown from highest to lowest (from nstperfume.com):

Perfume oil (15-30% perfume oil in an oil rather than alcohol base)

PARFUM or Perfume) (15 - 25% -- also sometimes referred to as extract or extrait)

Soie de Parfum(15 - 18% perfume oil)

Eau de Parfum (8 - 15% perfume oil)

Eau de Toilette (4 - 10% perfume oil)

Eau de Cologne (2 - 5% perfume oil)

Eau Fraiche (Usually 3% or less perfume oil)

stampingpaperdoll, thank you for sharing! I don't wear fragrances too often because I get tired of the smell pretty quickly. I also go for very light scents such as pure grace. I like bergamot and musky scents though. what does this perfume smell like? is it light?

Thanks! I didn't know. The extent of my collection only reaches to EDP but I will guess you can not get parum at Walgreens! LOL. =D

From what I understand you can use kohls cash and rewards but not the percentage off coupons. Which makes sense because the companies don't want their products devalued if they are a prestige brand . But I don't th think it applies to perfume. Only their makeup like lorac.

A few months ago I used a coupon to buy Jennifer Lopez's JLove EDP.

I had a small size of her original one and really liked the scent, but it did not last more than 2 hours on me. Glad you found something you like.
