Julep didn't work for me; Perfect Formula did. I have no problem with nails growing - maybe all the Jello I ate as a child! LOL! But I have a real problem with white spots on my nails, which made it impossible to switch from a darker to a lighter shade when I wanted. The spots showed through. My dermatologist said it was the skin underneath drying out and prescribed an expensive cream I never got. I took a chance on Perfect Nails, and my white spots disappeared! My nails look amazing, and I don't pamper them. I do use the pink gel as a base coat.

@Shanus,  just saw your reply today so sorry for the delay in my reply.  I’m of an age (63) now where maybe my nail/hair growth is slowing from what it once was!   I should clarify...at 4weeks, my nails will have grown out to need clipping again, but I clip them really short when doing my own pedi.  I start to notice growth at the cuticle around week 3 so at week 4 its time to strip color, give the nails a day or two to rest before the polish routine again.  Much easier in the cooler months when toes are covered by socks/shoes.

@MJDinVegas  Maybe it’s my high protein diet....hair cut every 4 wks., nails short (barely any white showing), but cut and repolish each week. Gels would cost fortune that often & harm nails..toe nails grow fast, too. Pedi at 2 wks. 70 here.
