Colleen’s nails were long, strong and beautiful before Julep came to Q. The Perfect Formula rep used her nails as an example of an “after”.

So, who do you believe?

Uh oh, now Deanna...same nails from Perfect Formula rep’s presentation.

The Julep polishes I've tried wouldn't stay on my nails.  I have some problems with cracking and splitting which I try to keep under control with moisturizing my nails and using the Perfect Formula gel coat under my colored polish.  I just don't like the look of natural nails on me.......I have to have color, and the PF works better than others I've tried for a good thick base coat.

I have used both Perfect Formula and Julep and neither works for me.  My nails are splitting as I get older and the only thing I found works is Nail Envy.  It's true Deanna has beautiful nails from using the PF but Julep is a waist of money.

@luvmybeetle  I think there are different formulas for Nail Envy, aren't there?  Which one do you use?

I use the original nail strengthener mostly and always have it on.  I never leave my nails bare.  I also use the sensitive & peeling strengthener once in a while.

I don't believe anything this vendor says.  I don't believe you can put vitamins and natural whatever in a polish and think it's going to help your nails.  Anything you put on your nails is a chemical and not natural.  I think Colleen and Deanna had long nails and has nothing to do with this product.  If you ever noticed, I don't recall either of those models wearing nail polish on the set.  I think that clear just makes their nails look yellow and awful.

I don't believe any of the claims.  Long before there were shopping channels, Internet sellers, etc. I took my disgusting nails to my derm who suggested I stop wasting my money on products because I wasn't going to be happy with any results.  He also didn't think I'd be all that happy with my natural nails, but at least I wouldn't have spent a wallet full of money on them!

For my nails at that time, he was right.  I did use acrylics when I was working, just never long and exaggerated.  They looked fine, but my weak nails certainly weren't heathier for them, so in retirement, I'm natural. I always use color on my toes, but not on my fingers.  None of the newer producrs that tout treatments work for me.  Wish one would, but my past experiments with them have left me cynical.

@Equuleus I don’t agree. Colleen’s nails look more yellow w/o the clear polish (PF Pink).

Perfect Nails did nothing and neither does Opi's Nail Envy.  I am trying Julep. I will give a bottle to my DIL.  I have nothing to lose.  I use mostly Zoya Nail Polish... the base coats... do not keep the polish on and they chip by day 2 or 3. I notice they are peeling more but it could be my thyroid as mine has been removed and taking medication for life.

I think all these products are just hype.
