Its Bye Bye Undereye Concealer

[ Edited ]

Recently I got tired of rooting through the many concealers that I have.  None of them were a favorite so decided to try a different one each day to decide which one(s) that I would keep and which one(s) that would get tossed.

Forgot I had tube of Its Bye Bye Concealer so tried it today.  Wow, that stuff is thick and heavy.  All the others that I have are lighter and creamier but not this one.  Don't even think Laura Geller's full coverage concealer is as thick but since I have a tube will compare just for curiosity sake.

Guess I'd forgotten what a full coverage concealer is like.   The concealer testing continues.....

Re: Its Bye Bey Undereye Concealer

I don't use it under my eyes.  I use it on red areas of my face when I don't want a full foundation, or when foundation alone isn't covering it.  A tiny dot goes a long way, and then pat pat pat (no rubbing).  I really like it for that.  One tube will probably last me a lifetime.

I love IT's Bye Bye Illumination undereye concealer.  I also use it for red spots or discoloration on my face instead of foundation,  A little goes a long way and it really covers my dark circles.  QVC doesn't sell it anymore, don't know why.

They still have it but it looks like only the darker colors are available now.

Same here. That's how I'm using mine, that I've had over a year, (last forever even when you DO use it undereye.)

I just didn't like how it looked or went on, being so thick, heavy and stiff.

This year I tried a Loreal wand one I got at CVS...light, smooth, sheerer coverage, sometimes I apply two coats, but even then..easy to apply, looks fine on, not thick, stays on well througout the day. It's not "Holy Grail" to me, like Mally's old cream (discontinued) concealer was for me for a decade...but I do like it and will continue to buy the Loreal, until I maybe come across another I want to try.

I was listening to a YouTube influencer and there was, I believe a Lancome concealer (forget the name; would have to check it out again), but it's Angie from"Hot&Flashy"... that Lancome was her Holy Grail from Sephora, I may try at some point.

Bye Bye is the best but.........put only a small drop on your hand and let it warm up next to skin.....then with just a 'dab' lightly dot it under eyes and spread.  Only need a drop b/c it is thick.  Bend it and it will last all day and the product lasts for months and months.

Can't live without it.......me

@fthunt think I may have used a bit too much today.  LOL  I'll try again later and use less and see if I like it more.

@JudyL   I purchased it years ago and it was too thick and heavy for me. I now only use it on bruises, a few veins around my ankles, etc. I like coverage under the eye, but not such a full coverage concealer. I rotate between several concealers, too.

Maybelline's Age Rewind Concealer is worth trying. Lot's of great reviews for that all over the internet. I love it. Comes in 18 different shades. Amazon sells it for less than $6.

@JudyL  That's a great idea - trying a different one every day - I'm going to do that, too.  Like everyone, I have too much stuff stashed that I don't use.  Once in a blue moon I actually toss lipsticks that just don't "do it" for me.  I have 4 powder foundations, none of which are amazing, and I just ordered the It Cosmetics set that was offered the other night.  I'm going to try the Laura Mercier concealer that I have but stopped using - give it another try.  While I'm at it, I hope to be able to part with other goodies to make room for more new goodies!!!  Thanks for the idea.
