Re: It Cosmetics popularity?

I still love and use IT's mascaras, the Superhero and the Tightline. They're right up there in my book as the best mascaras I've ever used! The CC cream was always too thick and heavy for me, even though I loved the spf50 physical sunblock. Not much into foundation anymore. I'll use a stick or compact cream blush (IT's) and that's it.

I like their eyeshadows a lot but don't wear shadow that much anymore.

The lippies are really nice, I forget what It calls them but they're very soothing and feel so great on my lips.

My Ulta still has a large IT display. It’s one of my favorite lines.

I don't know if IT is closing or in danger of closing.

You're right.  Not anything new in a long time.  A big selling point they always mention is how long it took to develop each product.  So maybe when it was originally sold, the company didn't include product development?

So they just keep selling the products that were created by Jamie.

Just a thought.

IT's brow pencil was the first I ever used.  The original shade was too red for me and all their foundations are too yellow for me.  I do love the brushes.  Pricey but worth it.  I also like the confidence in a cream but use elemis.  Just saying.  LOL

Re: It Cosmetics popularity?

I tried a couple of their products ages ago and they just didn't work for me.  I think Laura Geller products are better for me and there is more of a presence - and I always get great discounts on-line.

Re: It Cosmetics popularity?

I don't think anyone here knows the real answer and all would be speculation.

QVC has 157 product listings, some of which are lip products, though not the traditional glosses of the past, and some of the listings kind of overlap products.  You're right about the traditional eyeshadows, but there are the stick type.

Re: It Cosmetics popularity?

IT just introduced the serum lip gloss a few months ago. The holiday beauty book was an exclusive with QVC. While they are clearly scaling back their relationship with QVC, i don’t think that means they’re going out of business. MAC disappeared from the Q entirely but they seem to be doing just fine.

Re: It Cosmetics popularity?

The cc cream never worked on me. I tried different variations of both formulations and colors and instant orange on me. I do like their blushes and brushes but that is about it.
