I purchased this foundation when it first came out and the color light was perfect for me. However, there seemed to be a film covering it that had to be scraped and I have to continually scrape it to get a little powder to apply. I received the TSV last week and the light foundation has changed; and, for me not in a good way. My new one is lighter in color and very powdery. Touching it lightly with the brush results in a mass of powder which emphasizes lines and looks cake like. I've been trying to work with it for days and trying to pick up just a little powder; but, even a litlle shows in the lines.
I'm now realizing that my original one doesn't have a film on it - it's just very solid. Whatever is making it more solid may also be the reason for the color being a little darker. They apparently tried to fix this problem but this new formulation no longer works for me. I also have the original medium and tan which doesn't have to be scraped but isn't as powdery as the new light one. I don't know if the formulations of these have been changed.
At least I can use all 3 of the ones I have; so, they will last me a while.
Now I'm better understanding the differing opinions concerning this light color.
