It Celebration foundation color

I have the original which is marked light/medium (I had ordered light) and it is a bit dark for me so I'll probably reorder it I'm fair. Is the new illuminating one the same? I heard her mention that fair is only for the most most porcelain, which I am not.....so not sure which shade to order in illuminating.
