I've been struggling to decide whether I'm getting "too much" illumination from the CC cream, but I think that because I ordered the TSV in Medium and Light that it's actually the Medium is too deep for me (even with self tanner) and not the illumination. Yesterday I used Bare Minerals Mineral Veil over it and it looked nice. I don't think I need to use the Celebration Illumination over it because it would be overkill in coverage for me, not the illumination factor. I noticed there are a lot of really negative reviews on the CC illumination, which is sad. I've never used the regular CC cream, but I will after this TSV. It's a really good product without a lot of fuss.

Kjelle, yes, they introduced the newest version, the CC+Illumination in the recent TSV. They sell both here now but the new one is just in the kit at the moment. It's not at the stores yet, it is like the regular CC but either glowy, luminous, tin-man like, or the same as the regular CC, depending on the reviewer's opinion!

On 4/5/2015 Kjelle said: Set me straight. Are there two different CC+ products now, or only one? I love the CC+, but it is light for me as it is. I mix in a little squirt of Mary Kay on my fingers in the morning as I apply it. I don't want Illumination. I tried the Hello Light and that was a big fail. I have the huge size CC+ on auto ship now. If they have changed it, I would rather go to ULTA and buy it to try it. Return it if it's a no go, and cancel the auto ship. Returning to QVC is really difficult.
I really like the original CC cream, I'm hoping it's offered again in the supersize. I will not be trying the new CC Illumination cream. I have the Celebration Foundation Illumination (powder form offered in a previous TSV) and I do not like it. It is much too much for my oily skin. I can make it work as a highlighting powder for evening events, but that's about it. Under normal lighting conditions, it magnifies every flaw and highlights ones that I didn't even know we're there.......the "tin-man" quote applies in my case.
I'm sticking with the original Celebration Foundation and original CC cream......no more illumination for me.
