Re: Isomers Critque Appreciated

For those ladies who wish to narrow down and streamline their routine from Isomers Products, and also for those, who complain there are too many, or there is "endless parade of new and/or reformulated products".

Yep, pretty much so! Isomers is an innovative company, on the edge of modern science and technology, constrantly striving to formulate new and better products, and constantly doing new research as well as keeps updated on world's newest reasearch and breaks through in modern skincare.

If some ladies, prefer staying with old and familiar Oil of Olay type of products Cat Happy - this would not be the Isomers!

Anyways, here is a post from Isomers staff member explaining that Evine has a new Isomers webstore that makes it easier to shop for Isomers products that is best for you:

"Isomers products are developed for the various stages of aging. Nobody needs to use everything from every line. For well over a year we have been working to streamline our assortment, which is not an easy task considering that we sell globally.

Evine has launched a new Isomers webstore this visit. I invite you to read through their information, shop by the color coded labels, and determine which products are best for your skin concerns.

As we announce reformulations, we are blasted from customers about eliminating their favorite products. At some point, we simply have to make the cuts and move on so as you hear about many discontinued items in the coming weeks and months, I hope you'll understand why."

I can't provide the link (not allowed here). If you google the words - EVINE Life Isomers 19th Anniversary - you will find a page with "shop by age" and "shop by skin type" buttons. There are your products listed for you.

Re: Isomers Critque Appreciated

@sonechko Someone posted the ingredients in retiniacin on one of the Isomers threads, I would say within 4 days ago. I saw it. It said it -10% retinol. I know because I was curious myself.

I believe you did not get this 10% off thin air, @Judaline and saw it posted somewhere. What I am saying, is that it can not be correct information, since per Isomers staff member, who is responsible to answer questions like this on Isomers FB, the answer was very clear - Isomers will NOT disclose ingredient percentage for their proprietary products. Which Retiniacin is. And her post was specifically responding to the same question on Retiniacin. This is their policy, and whoever posted this can not have known this information.

Re: Isomers Critque Appreciated

@sonechko I believe you-the Isomers staff person would be the one to have the accurate info. What I saw was an actual list of ingredients-dunno if the poster copied and posted or read it off her bottle or what. We may never know so  we'll have to trust the Isomers spokesperson. Too many threads to go thru and not worth it when it could be the wrong info.

No, @Judaline, I won't insist to be right here! I know this same question was raised on Retiniacin on FB and this was the answer. I now, there are the ingredients posted on every Isomes bottle, on Evine, and on Isomers Lab sites. But no percentages of ingredients disclosed on their proprietary formulations.  I would LOVE to see that posting you saw! Maybe, there is something to it, I do not know, I wish I'd be able to see what it was. Thanks! Smiley Happy

Re: Isomers Critque Appreciated

p,s. Besides, @Judaline 10% of Retinol seems to be a bit high? Is not it? I do not know much about retinol products and only use Retiniacin, since it is so gentle, but I think I saw other lines offering it, the percentage was something like - .5%, 1%, 2%.... something along those numbers. I do not know up to how much prescription retinol goes.

Re: Isomers Critque Appreciated

@sonechko Here's what I read and it's right here on this thread-you wrote it!! Maybe I didn't understand the 10% thing??

What is it?

Our very first stabilized retinol and vitamin B3 formulation is turning out be a an impressive age diffusing multi-tasker.  Our amplified (10% blend of retinol, niacinamide and collagen boosters) formulation works to diminish the appearance of fine wrinkles, acne marks, superficial discolorations, uneven texture and tone for a dramatically radiant complexion.

  • Formula designed to improve the skin barrier and thicken surface of the epidermis & boost collagen for younger looking skin
  • To keep aging skin looking (and acting) younger
  • More science, less visible signs of aging
  • Better science, better skin
  • More robust technology into the formulas that deliver better results

Re: Isomers Critque Appreciated

Thanks @Judaline! Even if I myself wrote this post, I certainly only copied and pasted it from the Evine or Isomers Lab description. The way I read it here, the "10%" pertains not to a percentage of Retinol alone, but rather to a combination of ingredients listed - "10% blend of retinol, niacinamide and collagen boosters)".

Well, I am sure this is not 10% of Retinol, as it would seem to be waaaay too high! Cat Happy Plus, they do not disclosure the exact composition of their proprietary formula.

Thank so MUCH for finding and posting this, Judaline!!! Woman Happy

@sonechko No problem, I'm just glad we got this settled. I see how I misconstrued the 10% word.

Re: Isomers Critque Appreciated

Isomers never discloses actual percentages of individual ingredients. Proprietary info! Like 20% matrixyl serum is combination of diff matrixyl's(matrixyl + 3000 + synthe 6).
