Re: Is this some kind of record?

For those asking:

NO it was not an autodelivery. If that were the case I would have received the first one 8 months ago. I don't do autodelivery anyway.

NO it was not something that was out of stock. It shipped and UPS tracking said it was delivered back in November. When it never showed up I called and let QVC know that I didn't receive it and they refunded me. Now like magic it showed up 8 months later. My best guess is that it got overlooked at a ups facility somewhere and has been sitting.

I just thought it was mildly amusing and thought I would share.

(I had a delayed shipment at the end of last year.  It seemed to have just disappeared into the black void.  I got a refund.  Then several weeks later it was delivered - in perfect condition.  I notified QVC CS and had them recharge my credit card, as I was happy with it.)

I would think you would want to return it since you've already received a refund.

Re: Is this some kind of record?

several years ago I ordered a special essential oil from A small shop in New York. I live in California. Weeks passed, didn't come. Finally after 6 weeks owner sent free replacement.  Over one year later, on my doorstep a package appeared. It had original post mark on it nothing on pkg to say what had happened, and our postman had no explanation.  lol. I didn't need it, I just wrote return to sender, dropped at post office.  lo called , they got it 4 days later.
I think it gets stuck, or lost at post office.

Re: Is this some kind of record?

Twice in the last year I've ordered clothing items from QVC that finally showed up 2 months later. When I checked the tracking, both got stuck in the same post office in Atlanta.

I've also had things get "stuck" in that same spot for a week or more.
