• exercising & toning facial muscles which, with regular use, will help tighten sagging skin
• increasing blood circulation giving skin a soft glow
• aiding with the penetration of the beneficial, active ingredients in skin care products
• may also aid in increases in the production of collagen and elastin

ITA.  Current is current regardless of the device delivering.

Re: Is anyone afraid to use Micro Current?

Does it not tell you which type of health conditions are of concen if using it? If it only has that vague statement about only healthy people should use it, I would NEVER use it without consulting your doctor if you have ANY health issues.

This type of product and the one that basically perforates your skin scare me. So many things could go wrong if you aren't careful. I'd rather not take the chance.

Re: Is anyone afraid to use Micro Current?

ME!!!   years ago I fell for the hype and bought the Suzanne Somers' one.  I used it twice and  (1) it felt like little electrical shocks on my skin, and (2) my face muscles twitched for about an hour after each use.   I had a  "What Was I Thinking?" moment and returned it ASAP.

How can something that shocks your face muscles so bad that they twitch be good for you?

Re: Is anyone afraid to use Micro Current?

Based on my previous replies, mine went in the trash because of the damage I believe they caused my eye.....which is irreparable, unfortunately.

HOWEVER, in the search for something to help lift the face, I succumbed to these facial weights that were on Amazon. They are like square sand bags about 3" (for the eyes) and about 5" for the face. Like $39???

Today was my first go of it and will keep you posted, but my cheeks were a bit tired after doing it for about 50 reps.........

Re: Is anyone afraid to use Micro Current?

I tried the Suzanne Somers machine a few years ago and got

terrible headaches and called them. They said that should not happen

so i returned it.

I guess we all are looking for a cure  for saggy skin but it is not worth

having some effect happen to eyes or other.  There is a list of health

issues that if you have - you should not use these machines. BUT

i read too that a few people wondered as did i-what if you have some

un-diagnosed issue and you use these machines.

So that is not good. I will not ever get botox. I mean no way am I having

Poison injected. They have no idea of possible long term effects from this.

Guess I will look for face products that lift lol and yes i know they will not work like machines. Smiley Sad BOOO. LOL.

Thanks everyone.

Thank you, Bella

The thing that makes me believe it was a cause/effect situation was the fact that when this originally happened (15 months ago), the eye doc said the other  eye will go in a few weeks or a few months. .....it did not and when i went to see him last month, he was surprised there was no real involvement of the right eye......

take care

Sorry this happened to you.  I know when you go to a doctor they are very concerned with eye protection when using laser.  I  thought about the at home laser removal systems but I can't get a comfort level with the lack of eye protection.
