This is one thing I don't care about getting a "name" brand. If I find a pair at the store, and it works for me, I use them.

I found Tweezerman's tweezers have gone downhill. As someone said, the company was bought & now the QA is not there. They used to be really sharp, which is very important for getting small hairs. They offer free sharpening. However, it takes 4 weeks, so what do you do in-between? When they came back they were not sharp. Pass on Tweezerman.
