Anyone else new and not impressed? I just dropped my membership and sold the junk on ebay! Sorry for those that love it.... I'm just not impressed at all. At least I got my money back! Is there a much better option out there?

This month and last month's bags are really not worth it. Glad you listed stuff. If I ever learn how to upload photos to ebay easily I may do that as well. No idea which other bag for that price is better. Not Birchbox, tiny pricy samples and I never even liked them enough even try them. Also got tired of tea, plastic bags and hair ties being thrown in.

I swap the items I don't want, but I actually did like the last ipsy 3 bags. Very pleased that it was more skincare this month than makeup. I dropped birchbox last september.

I've joined SaffronRouge's inner circle which is eco-friendly beauty products. They do not tailor to you, but they are curated boxes (like glossybox). I've read the blogger reviews and I am excited to try this one out.

I recommend glossybox as well - i've sub'd to some of their boxes and also their limited edition ones. It is 21.00/month, with deals if you sign up for 3, 6 or 12 months.

If you don't mind quarterly subs, there is yuzenbox.com - however, that also includes lifestyle items (such as candles, snacks) but it is mainly beauty items. This is also an eco-friendly box. It is 33.00 per quarter.

eco-emi is one I will never get tired of - it is a beauty/lifestyle eco-friendly box - monthly at 15.00

I do not recommend wantable, which is a pricey sub that doesn't match up to its hype

I've been liking Ipsy better than Birchbox, I cancelled my January Birchbox subscription but kept Ipsy.

I just received my first box yesterday; here's what I received:

Make-up cleansing tissue/towelettes (10 pk.), Benefit Porefessional Deluxe sample tube, Balm Me Up Body Balm (small jar), Malin + Goetz Mojito Lip Balm (deluxe tube), Yaby Natural Finish Liquid Foundation.

I have not tried any of the products yet. I probably have about 3 or 4 of the Benefit Porefessional...for some reason, it has been included in any kind of sampler packs I've gotten, so I didn't need that. I have several lip balms, so that one was not interesting to me either. The other three look like something I'd like. I may try another month or two to see if I really like it, but I'm not blown away by this first kit!

I really wanted to get the M+G balm, but got the mica tinted balm instead! Bag envy! M+G is not a deluxe tube - that is the full size!

I got the cleansing wipes, the healthy s 3xy hair leave in conditioner (I swapped that for the body balm), elizabeth mott eyeshadow pencil in penny, revolotion 3-1 toner, serum, face lotion and the mica tinted balm in fiesta.

Thanks for correcting me on the lip balm; I knew that was a pretty good sized tube! It's not that I won't try it; I just have so many lip balms right now. When you say you "swapped" something...what do you mean? Were you able to go in beforehand and specify what you would like? I'm so new that maybe I don't know how to do everything. I was on waitlist for awhile and haven't really paid attention to everything. Please fill me in!!

IPSY has a swap site. You can get to it through their Face Book site and probably their regular link. I haven't tried it. No, you can't tell them exactly what you want - you won't know what's available until around when they start shipping. You can and should fill out a profile. However, I really think everyone gets just about the same products, just reshuffled into different configurations each month.
