I purchased the recent TSV in Falling in Love. Usually an Amazing Grace lover but switched over. So once time I tried using the 3-1 AG showel gel on my hair and I did not like the way it felt aftwards at all. Because we were out of shampoo this morning I tried the FIL in my hair and and I loved the way it felt and blew dry. I wonder if the scent has any effect on how you hair will come out. Anyone else notice this.

Posters used to discuss this because we would notice one 3-in-1 worked better than another when used as shampoo. I'd purchased an old bottle of FIL and found it worked really well on my hair and the scent lingered. But this was the old formula that had a slight peppery fragrance.
A lot of posters felt bananas foster was a great shampoo for them. Some scents worked, others... not so much. Weird, huh?

That is interesting. I do remember a long time ago when I had a bottle of the all in one in the AG that I tried on my hair, and it was awful, so I never did it again. I actually have the FIL in the real shampoo and the real conditioner big pumps (bought directly from Philosophy), and I love those on my hair. The conditioner really detangles and softens my hair. Sometimes I use a squirt as a quick hand lotion......love the smell!

I loved my hair when I used the old pure grace condtioner. It was discontinued, of course. ![]()
It's come back but I haven't tried the new version.

I've been using the same shampoo (Nexus Therappe) for over 35 years and have been so tempted to try Pure Grace 3 in 1 but never have. I just figured that was a gimmick to get you to use more product. I recall reading on Makeup Alley that it makes your hair a tangled, matted mess but I'm going to chance it since I'm home or the next three days.

The 3 in1 made my hair like rubber. Could hear it stretching and breaking. Look at the ingredients.

I collected so many 3-in-1s at one point that I had over a hundred of them in the house. My justification was that I wouldn't have to buy shampoo.
I ended up trying to match every scent to a conditioner. I ended up with a lot of conditioners I couldn't use. And I was still buying shampoo.
It's been years since I've bought a shower gel. I've been using the 3-in-1s as hand soap at the sink to try to get rid of them. After all these years I still have four unopened bottles left.
Someday I'll get to buy a new shower gel. But it won't be a 3-in-1.

If I'd been using the same shampoo for over 35 years and it was still working for me, I'd think I might have died and gone to toiletries heaven.
Don't mess with toiletries heaven.
