I bought this a couple of months ago and wasn't terribly impressed with the delivery system or the product's results.  Can someone suggest a different color glaze for in-between colorings?

Thanks

I sometimes use dpHue Gloss +.  If you use it, I suggest you use gloves.  Won't cover gray though.

I would be tempted to get the HSN TSV curly wig if they had it in dark red for that purpose.

Thanks for the review. I was thinking about getting this myself. I think I'll hold off though the bottle is all kinds of cute.  I have used John Frieda brunette line and it really enhances the color. They have Brilliant Brunette and Midnight Brunette. I've used both and like them when my hair color starts getting drab.

I know everyone does not have a Madison Reed nearby, but they opened up one close to me about 8 months ago.

It costs me $65 a month and I can go every week if I want.  I go every 10 days to 2 weeks, so I get my monies worth.  I have very dark brown/black hair, so gray hair shows up quickly.

Hope you find some inbetween product that works for you Monicakm and have a wonderful New Year!

I have used Gem Celeb Luxury Intense Color Depositing colorwash shampoo from Amazon. There is also a conditioner, but I have used that less often. It is a temporary color. The glosses that I have used have been disappointing, including the one I had professionally applied.

I use an amber blonde on my gray hair. Some it covers, some it doesn't. I haven't used any darker color.

Humm, wonder what I did wrong.  Sitting in front of me is a bottle of John Frieda Brilliant Brunette Color Deepening Treatment.  I'm sending it back to Amazon.  I use the Espresso hair color from this line. (dark brown).  Maybe the Midnight Brunette will work.  I think that's the color of the shampoo JF I use.  Thank you

I just googled this and now I wish I lived near a Madison Reed.  I would be all about that subscription.

I don't think you did anything wrong. It just might not work the like you were expecting.  I'd send it back and try something else.

@weezer111 That is awesome!  I just looked up my area and we have 1 that isn't to far away from me. About 25mins so not bad at all.  I am thinking I could see if they might be able to match my color for me and I could even "possibly" learn to color my roots myself on the off times I don't see my regular salon stylist.  I would LOVE to have my roots done every 3 wks actually and perhaps the cut every 6wks.  But right now I just can't afford it.

I will have to check the pricing as the website does say pricing is different in each area.  The deal you have sounds fabulous!
