UPDATE!
Whoa!!!! I just tried it on my 2nd day hair that has product in it, and this brush is a HUGE YAY!!!!!! My bob is salon-poofed up! Lol More on why that matters to me, later. Lol
About my question earlier.....
I use blowdryers and flat irons all the time on my 2nd day hair with all its styling product on it.
And I do always pre spritz with heat protectant spray or gel. I should have phrased my question better! I just wanted to know if I could do that with this specific brush styler....because 1) the directions stated it was for clean hair use. But mainly because 2)
I was worried that product might build up on the bristles and maybe warp or melt them. The bristles are NOT flexible; they are like little stiff heated columns. I think it may be hard to clean them off completely. I will try with a damp towel and cuticle stick. I know my flat iron starts to smoke if it has even a tiny amount of buildup. I will have to use ONLY gel heat protectants with this brush, as it says the hair must be DRY befo8re use. Yup, I can spray with heat protectant, then blowdry, and then use the brush, but I wanted to eliminate the blowdryer step.
Edited:
I am posting a few pics, in case anyone is interested in getting this product from qvc. You get the brush styler, 3 hairclips, and a cute storage case.

.......
Back to my bob!
Ok, I am soooo excited about this brush after just ONE use. I am growing out my bob, into a lob....it is in that meh inbetween stage. I have med text hair, but a lot of it, and it is naturally wavy. It is the type of hair stylists tell you NOT to cut into an angled bob. Lol I spend a ton of time getting it to lay sleek, but I do not mind. The only part that kills me is trying to POOF it up, esp at the roots. It is great on day 1, but flat on day 2. I have been using Calista Tools creme texturizer (AMAZING STUFF!!!), but this brush did just as well! YAY!!! It even POOFED up my bump (for anyone who doesn't know, that is the part at the back of your crown that most of us with short hair styles usually either have to cut really short in that area or tease to get that poofy bump).
Heat Setting & Bleached Blonde Hair:
I have double processed blonde hair (base lifted, plus highlights). I was scared I'd get breakage, so I started on the low 320 F setting. That was perfect! It straightened and smoothed easily!
CONS:
No cons to speak of yet! But, I do have a WARNING:
I did get a tiny bit of breakage at first --- only 3 strands. I think it was because the bristles are stiff.....no flex at all. Add to that, my hair is bleached. I added a bit of silicone serum after I saw the broken hairs on the heated brush styler, and NO more breakage when I re tried it, thanks to the slip. I will have to find a silicone gel heat protectant, so that my hair will glide through the brush easier.
IF anyone reading this has wavy or curly, thick hair, and, struggles to get LIFT and sleekness in their angulated bob.....RUN AND GET THIS BRUSH!
......I just noticed this is made in china. Ugh. I hope it lasts! It does seem to be made well...at least, it is much heavier than it looks! It is about the weight of a drugstore type blowdryer, but not as heavy as my professional Elchim. And it heated up quickly! That was a plus.
Thanks again to all who responded to my questions!

Lipstickdiva!
OUCH! I know how that type of tangle feels! I had that happen once with a spikey curling iron.
Tip:
If you have another tangle like that, use a liberal application of SILICONE serum on your hair. You will be able to easily slip out sections at a time. Coconut oil also works, but silicome serum works best and fastest.
