I just switched back to My Fitness Pal from Weight Watchers, online. This was my 2nd go at WW online.
WW is a proven program - it's an easy to follow program, with proven results. I just wish I could go to meetings! I think that's where the real success is. I just can't get to the one near me in time, with my work schedule.
I'm shocked at how sparse the food directory is on WW. On My Fitness Pal, the food directory is HUGE. I can find almost anything I need, and its nutritional value. Also, MFP is free, whereas WW isn't.
I also have found the community on MFP to be spectacular - so many helpful people who really lift each other up. In my experience (both recently and two years ago) the community on WW is very clique-y, and not too friendly if you ask a question that they deem silly, or dumb. It's... weird, to say the least. Not that I haven't gotten good info on the board, it's just a very different atmosphere. Not super-friendly, with lots of 'oh you weren't here then' - type jokes.
I really really missed MFP, and am excited to be starting it again.
Just my $.02, in case anyone is interested.
