If you use the oils, do you use them before EVERY cleanse? I cleanse every other day, and seem to have better 2nd day hair if I do an oil treatment the night before cleansing.

On the other hand, I don't like going to bed with oily hair every other night!

Just wondering, will my scalp eventually balance out enough so that I don't NEED to use them before every cleanse?

I am probably in the minority. I cleanse daily and oil my scalp 5-7 nights per week, only skipping the oil treatments when I am too tired to mess with them. I never really had an oily scalp, but have read that other poster's scalps have normalized oil production after a few months of oil treatments.

I just started using the TT Oil. I have been using it 2-3 times per week. My hair looks better after 2nd cleanse. Oh that was with regular shampoo. I ordered the Wen Dec. TSV. I just started using the CC & have not used the TT Oil yet then the CC. I was going to put the TT Oil on my scalp last night & I forgot. I'm going to try the BGT today. So far my hair likes the POM best.

Forgot to say I have an oily scalp. I also wondered how long it would take to normalize after using the TT Oil.

Do I have to use it that many nights for my oily scalp to normalize???

I don't think so at all Smiley Happy I believe several posters use them 2-3 times per week with great results. I am looking for a different result--my hair is dry though it's not too abused so I can't figure out why. Chaz refers to the oils promoting "healthy hair growth" so am hoping for more moisturized hair.

I thought I would try it to see if it would normalize my oily scalp. My hair is also dry. Has to be from coloring since it was not like that until I started coloring my hair. I think my hair will look more moisturized from using the CC.

Nightowlz, I think it will help you with mositure, too. Since I started using WEN 17 months ago, the new growth is deeper in color, dimensional, and it shines! I can't say whether the cause is the CC, the oils, or both, but I'll take it ;o)

I use TT Oil 3 times a week, each night before I wash. It is my understanding the properties in the TT Oil will help to stimulate hair growth. The oil never gets on my pillows Smiley Tongue and I've come to enjoy the smell of TT. I also use it in my nails to strengthen and grow them. The oils can also be used head to toe. I use other scents on my body and face. I believe Chaz says something like having a healthy scalp is similar to having fertile soil, you need it to get good results for your hair (or plants), you can't have one without the other.

I also use the tt oil as an overnight treatment 2 or 3 times a week. I use the other oils that I have after I style my hair. I especially like to use the seasonal oils after styling and just add a tiny amount to the ends. It doesn't matter what type of other Wen products I had used this just leaves a very pleasant smell.

My scalp is EXTREMELY oily so I can only go a day between cleanses. Without Wen I had to cleanse every day. I can go two days but by the second day it looks like I applied the oil to my scalp. I had the same feeling...I didn't like going to bed feeling a lot of oil in my hair, it felt wet to me so I only apply enough to cover the scalp and massage in for five to ten minutes then comb through. I don't cover the hair with any directly. Even though my scalp is oily I still use the oils. The hair grows out nicely. The oil is for the scalp. Healthy scalp should equal healthy looking hair. I feel you can use it whenever you like. You'll benefit from it if you use it once a week, in my opinion.
