She is annoying to me. She claims that she uses every skin care line, cosmetic line, haircare line, etc. when she is on the air. She doesn't have to lie to us about this. I don't really watch the home shopping shows very often, but the representatives should be more honest about their assessment.

But why call out Lisa for this? Every host does it, and some do it more than she does.

You are right. It definitely isn't just Lisa but most of the hosts claim that they use the products. They can't use every line that QVC, HSN, etc. sells. They should just tell you the benefits of the products and not make these claims about using the products. Maybe that is the reason that I don't like watching the home shopping networks. I really mostly just buy Wen from QVC.

I wonder why you posted this. It's really "mean girl" and rips down another person. Personally, I love Lisa's updos and wish I was able to replicate some of her looks. Maybe it's not your style, but aren't you lucky somebody isn't posting your name and ripping your style openly? Perhaps you think it's okay, because she's on TV and therefore fair game. Well, even though she's in TV, she's a human being with feelings. I doubt she reads this forum, but still, why even post this? It's not high school, and don't we try to teach high schoolers not to do this kind of thing?

Lisa has a glam style and that includes her hair. I have fine hair and if I had more time and money, I'd add clip-ons even using Wen. I love the thick hair look. I believe her, some of us are more hair challenged.

What I said about Lisa wasn't mean at all. I said that she was annoying and shouldn't claim that she uses every product that she is a host for. It isn't just her but many of the other hosts also. As I already explained, that is the reason that I don't watch the shopping channels very often. How can you trust a host who tells you on every show that they use these particular products? Maybe some of them do indeed use many different lines but I don't think that would be realistic.

She has softened her hair a lot lately. But, still she always talks about having 2 hairs rubbing together trying to make something and Chaz corrects her, and I've noticed she has just recently started acknowledging that her hair is better and also acknowledging that she feels dependent on hair spray and styling tools, which causes teasing by Chaz, showing they are friends and at ease with each other.

It came to me during the last WEN show that she may really feel intimidated by the WEN models and so is overly conscious about her hair. Who of us wouldn't be? Many of us feel our hair falls short of the models - there is always a thread started something like "Does your hair look like the WEN models?" every visit.

I see no reason to doubt her statement that she is using WEN. If she wasn't using WEN and wasn't a long-time client and friend of Chaz I think that would show. Instead, I see a real friendship and acceptance of each other. My feelings are if Chaz accepts her with her hair "hang ups", why can't we?

okiebug, I think that's a great point. Women frequently compare themselves to other women, so why should Lisa be any different.

I have not a lot of thin/fine hair so I know how Lisa feels. At the end of one Wen broadcast she removed her extensions on the air which I thought was wonderful. She's just another girl like the rest of us and it was great to see a host who is are genetically follically challenged as I am. My hair is closest to Lisa's and Mary (the model who dyes her hair black).

okiebug, I also see no reason to duobt that she uses Wen. lol, the way she talks about Wen, she sounds like another Wenner on this forum. I really don't think you can fake that much enthusiasm. I also think she is over the moon over the Tatcha skin care line (which I will probably try soon).

Lisa has mentioned that she does try other lines, but that she's a Wen girl. As a QVC host I would want to know that she has tried out the lines she presents on QVC, even if they're not her go to products. I think that's a part of her job. I'm guessing that if she doesn't like a particular line that she can probably ask QVC not to be part of that presentation. In the end, it makes more sense to have hosts who like the products presenting them.

I don't understand why Chaz would have an issue with anyone using his products. I use Wen and blow dry and flat iron. I don't think Chaz would be offended if that is what works for me.

Oh surprise another Lisa bash post......

I know. And I like how people think someone else would look pretty if only they did this or that. What one person considers pretty is another person's ugly so Lisa should only do what LISA likes and shouldn't concern herself with what others think she should do. I am sure she doesn't concern herself with what others say though, she seems like she is secure enough in her own skin and style to worry about what others think.

I wish we could just support each other and not nitpick every little thing. Life is hard enough without people constantly criticizing your every move and every look. It is sad.
