Re: IT cosmetics, watching presentation...

I also prefer the Celebration Illumination foundation. It is lighter and gives a subtle glow to the face. I use it in light and the color is a perfect match for me. I find the Celebration foundation does settle in lines and pores and not good if you have dry skin which I have.

Re: IT cosmetics, watching presentation...

I was a Bare Minerals user (loose foundation and summer bisque for covering blemishes or extra redness) for almost 20 years but now that I am in my mid 40s it was looking too dry/crepy on my face. I have tried the Celebration Illumination foundation and I do NOT like it at all. It goes on nice and looks decent for about the first hour you have it on. It then starts breaking down, redness shows through and I do not feel that it gives that good of coverage without layering on a ton of the product. However, I LOVE her CC cream with 50 spf that I bought in the super size when it was a TSV over a year ago. It gives fantastic coverage, a little goes a long way and it leaves your face soft and natural looking without drying you out. I do use a HD finishing powder over the CC cream as it can leave your face looking a little too shiny without it (e.l.f. or Makeup Forever have good finishing powders).

I haven't tried the It foundations, but don't buy the eyebrow crème gel. I loved it the first two weeks, but it didn't have the staying power I wanted, it dries out quickly and it flakes on your brows. Buy Anastasia dipbrow instead.

Re: IT cosmetics, watching presentation...

The It brushes (the ones with the black handles) are great! They used to come with the TSVs but if you buy the products individually, you get great brushes included.

So far the gel eyebrow is working fine. I also am concerned it will dry out. I am storing it upside down and wash my brush each time I use the product.

I also noticed, the gel eyebrow combo with gel and brush has been increased by about $1.00. The gel eyeliner has remained the same.

Re: IT cosmetics, watching presentation...

IT doesn't come in shades that work with my skin tone. They are all much too yellow based for my skin. I do like some of her color products, such a blushes, highlighters, etc. I haven't tried the gel liners (in the pot or pencil) yet but think they get good reviews.

I did try her original brow pencil and didn't care for it. Didn't apply easily, imo and didn't have much holding power.

Gorgeous brushes!

Re: IT cosmetics, watching presentation...

I wasn't a fan of Celebration Foundation, mostly because the color match was way off no matter which shade I chose. A lot of trial and error got me nowhere. However, I have nothing but rave reviews for the CC Cream with SPF 50!!! The coverage is amazing, the feel on your skin is so light, doesn't get trapped in fine lines or pores, looks glowy, wears well throughout the day. (I could go on and on!)
