It's funny the liner is my favorite thing in the kit as well and I really didn't care about receiving it at all. The foundation is very powdery. I have to tap off the excess or it will go on streaky. I'm afraid half the product is going to end up in my sink. Thankfully it looks pretty good on me. The blush is okay. I do prefer Tarte's blushes and I also prefer my matte sweet apple blush. The ombré blush is not as pigmented but it's not easy to overdo and look like a clown. I haven't tried the mascara yet. I think I'm going to keep the kit but definitely cancel my AD which is too bad because I think it's only $44. That's an amazing deal for foundation, blush, liner and mascara. Maybe I'll love the mascara and change my mind. I use Mally's now and I can't imagine liking anything more than hers.

Mine isn't even due for delivery until the 27th. Wonder why so late. From the reviews it may be going back, I only ordered it for the brush.

Geez, I'm such an idiot! I just looked to make sure I didn't order this on auto-delivery, and I see where last year I ordered a kit with this same shimmery foundation. I looked at my review and it is almost identical to what I wrote above -- very metallic and it caused me to break out. I'm going home at noon to wash my face!

I like it. I'm keeping it. The first day I used the foundation I did not like it. It felt shiny and fake, but surprisingly looked not-bad in outdoor natural lighting. Today I tried it with a different brush and the results are much better. I do no like the brush that came with this kit to apply this particular powder. It seems to pull up too much powder for me. Love the liner, used it on my inner lashline and it stayed really well. Haven't tried the mascara but decided to give the blush a try and I love it. I prefer it over an other It blush I own (I own 3 others) so the blush is a keeper. Other than the brush, I really like the kit!

Don't you just hate when that happens!!

I did hold off on ordering to read the reviews, posted the day of the TSV to ask for advice because I felt all the regular models look pale and powdery. My skin does not need mega coverage and the results for Jamie are exceptional. Returning things are something I do not like to do so I have lost money always thinking I will use stuff up. I do have sensitive skin and hate to have itching and breakouts.

I will add that I really liked the liner which has stayed on my lower inner rims all morning -- haven't found a liner to do that yet -- so I went to Amazon and it's $25 with Prime free shipping. Got it in black.

Jury still out on this one. I received the TSV yesterday in TAN, own the original celebration foundation in TAN however that version's tan is lighter. It looks fine, adding no bronzer as I usual do, but I will have to try for a couple of days to get a better idea if I like it or not. The illumination is not too much, that much I can say. In my office light, as well as outdoors. Very pretty blush, mascara not so, so crazy about but was rushing with that this morning, and the liner is no better than any other gel liners I have. We'll see......

I used everything in the kit this morning and it's been 10 hours now.

Celebration Illumination Foundation: I applied 2 very light layers because I was worried it would get cakey if I applied too much at once or applied more than two light passes. I set it with WEN Replenishing Treatment Mist. It did not look metallic and did last the day, but I think the Fair is too fair for me and I know the Light is too dark. I wish It Cosmetics would recognize that women come in more than 5 shades and they exclude a LOT of women across the wide spectrum of colors when they only account for 5. I'll try a few more times, but this may not be a good match for me.

Brush: It's not as soft or fluffy as the other It brushes, but it's a duofiber and isn't supposed to be. It's a nice weight and felt good to use. I'm always happy to have a new duofiber brush on hand.

Blush: This blush is a very nice color and looks like a natural flush. The ombre color scheme is matte where the color is most pigmented and has some pearl at the lightest end. I swirled them together and got a lovely color that was not too pink and not shimmery.

Gel Eye Liner: Eyeliners are usually throwaways for me because I don't really like them. They're often too hard or too soft, don't go on easily or don't stay on. This one is perfect! I used it to tightline my upper lashes and it was easier than any other pencil I'd used to tightline and stayed all day. This was the item I expected the least from and the item I'm most impressed by. I'm going to have to get another in a different color - maybe a blue.

Fiber Mascara: I found it a little hard to apply to the outer and inner edges of my lash line because of the ball, but it did go on and wasn't messy. It lasted all day and I've had about 3 flakes in the last few hours. Many mascaras give me smudges under my eyes, but this one has not. I don't know if I would repurchase, but I'm pleased enough to continue using it.

Overall: Disappointed in the match with the Celebration Illumination foundation. I tried it in an Ulta before I bought this kit, but the lighting in there was terrible. I'm happy enough with the rest of the products that I will keep this kit, but I am canceling my Auto-Delivery shipment.

Great review ChynnaBlue - I too am keeping the kit but canceling my future shipments. I got a good match with the medium fortunately.
