Gosh, based on what you all are saying I'm leaning towards returning mine already even though I haven't even received it yet! I agree it's deceptive of them to put that value on something so small.....maybe the FULL SIZE of the items included equals, that but it's just wrong to say a tiny size is worth that. I ordered a nice Lancome pallet yesterday from hsn which I know I'll love so I will likely package this one right back up after receiving it and send it back. {#emotions_dlg.bored}

Wow! That's too bad. I almost picked this up because I always wanted to try her makeup. Then I read what the actually size was and decided not to get it.

I was tempted to get it especially with the 20% off coupon but I didn't go ahead with the order and now I'm glad that I didn't order it. I am really surprised that they said that it was worth over $400 when clearly it isn't and also I was unhappy that there was NO mention of the size on the site. This all seems sort of deceptive to me.

I agree that it definitely seems like deceptive advertising. How can they claim that it is worth over $400 when it clearly isn't? It probably isn't worth much more than the advertised price. If I had ordered it I definitely would return it and I usually never return anything.

Bless the gal who posted the real size before I bought. I dodged a return there.

I happen to have just opened mine and am having the same reaction. I gave no weight to the "$400+ value" claim so I am not disappointed based on that, but I am disappointed at the size of the eye and lip colors. It would be a much better product, more useful for travel if there were half as many colors with twice as much product in each pan. The face products are all a nice size. On the other hand, it might be ok if one reserved it for occasional travel... assuming the creamy products don't dry out.

I'm on the fence. It's really cute, and since I used the coupon code for 20% off, I may just keep it.

I do not see how it can be good for travel, very heavy and bulky. The tiny brushes are useless . I am going to return mine!

{#emotions_dlg.lol}I agree that this is not a $400 value, but at $36, I do think it is worth that amount.

I used mine for the first time last night. I like the variety of eyeshadows--I've always wanted to try It shadows and this is the one thing I haven't tried yet. I have two big trips coming up and this seems pretty darn complete for travel! There is a lot of illuminating powder. Not sure what to do with it. I had to wipe it all off and start over on my cheeks because I accidentally used it all over and looked like the Tin Man. Loved getting a packet sample of the primer also.

Ok, I just got mine last night and I think I'm going to have to eat my words from earlier...{#emotions_dlg.blushing} while I do NOT agree w/ the retail value on this kit at all, I have to say it's definitely worth what I paid for it w/ the 20% discount I used! Yes, the shadows are small, but they will still last me quite a while and I do think this kit is going to be great for travel since it contains the concealers and everything. I'm actually pretty pleased with it and plan to keep it! I had no trouble using my normal shadow brushes in the little eyeshadow squares. I was also happy it included some items I've never tried like the bye bye pores powder. If someone was looking for a day to day palette though, I'm not sure this would be what they wanted unless they just wanted to try pretty much everything in the line at once.
