Desiree is doing an excellent job tonight with Alberti presenting IT Cosmetics.  I know she is enthusiastic about these products and she looks beautiful, but please talk a little slower so we can get everything you are saying about how to use them.

Jamie KL often slips into fast breathless speech pattern too.  Both ladies come across as liekable, and well prepared and knowledgable about their products.  Their presentations would be enhanced if they could maintain a measured and slower speaking pace.  Jamie used to work in TV news, so from her that breathless prattle like an excited little girl on air is surprising. It's admirable that they are passionate about this excellent brand, but sometimes when their voices raise up to that fast pace high pitch the show is over for me.

I agree. I'm watching Desiree today and I find her very distracting. She has taken on so many of Jamie's mannerisms. Her manner of speech needs to be toned down. She is speaking too fast and at times her tone is almost shrill. I'm not trying to be a hater, it is just difficult for me to watch the presentation this weekend. I find Desiree too animated and therefore not as genuine as when Jackie fills in for Jamie. Desiree is adorable, I just wish that she would tone it down.

Is she Jamie's sister or another relative? She talks and acts just like Jamie and they look similar so I just assumed she was related somehow.

I thought the same thing, but wanted to cut her some slack. It was like she had way too much coffee. Too fast and high-pitched. She has spoken during other presentations and gave well modulated info. I think she was just very nervous to be the presenter and hopefully she will get better when she gets more comfortable.

All of the It Cosmetics reps sound the same. I quit watching.

Desiree is an IT Cosmetics employee and she's had plenty of on air practice by now as she's one of the IT vendor reps sent to The Shopping Channel in Canada when Jaime isn't there. She, Jackie, and another woman usually represent the IT Cosmetics line now and they all take turns speaking on air.

When I was student teaching, I was listening to my model teacher speak for several weeks.  When I was allowed to jump in and teach on my own, I found myself saying the exact same things she did and even sounding just like her.  It's easy to slip into that when you're new at something and watch and listen to your "teacher" for a long period of time.  Eventually, I gained my own voice, my own mannerisms and my own quirks.

I've also noticed they all sound the same too.  They all really need to work on slowing down their speech.

Desiree might look great with the makeup on but in the future her skin will look saggy. Why the need to tug her face so hard. Then the way she cleans her face with the towel she ends up with red patches.
