IT Celebration Powder

[ Edited ]
Came to the forum seeking powder foundations. Thanks everyone for taking the time sharing your favorites. Especially woman close my age who recommended Celebration powder original version. Kept going back & forth shade choice finally choosing light, perfect! Thanks again!🌹

@Sweet_Serenity Please let me add one caution about the It Celebration powder (and this may not happen to you). I loved that stuff when I tried it...beautiful coverage, great color match. But I happened to look closely in a mirror one afternoon after wearing for several hours, and it had separated into little patches all around and on my nose. I tried with a primer and without---same results.

Just wanted to let you know. Check it out carefully after you've been wearing it for several hours. Hopefully you won't have that problem!

Thank you, So far everything looks good. Not even using primer or setting spray. IT CC original coming soon wanted to try and my goal is to use CC spot areas. Purchased several IT products. Can't get over shade light matches me. Don't even feel like I'm wearing anything! Tried illuminating last year did not care for the finish.

I really like the illuminating as a highlighter- cheeks, browbone, etc. I returned it though-  I wish they made a small size compact. With the amount I'd use, I'd have the compact forever! Instead, for highlighting I opt for Adrienne's (SCA on hsn) candlelight finish compact.

The illuminating runs 'true' for color, regular celebration runs light. I need 'tan' - it's  perfect. But  my skintone is really a medium shade with yellow undertones!

I have been using it lightly as a setting powder over the serum foundation. I have the illumination one.

After years of LG Balance and Brighten (which is a good product for me) I have switched to IT Celebration Foundation with 50 SPF. The coverage seems slightly better and stays on longer for me. (I wear medium, have some sun spots and broken capillaries to cover). I tested the Illumination version in Ulta, seemed nice, went out to my car, and my face looked hideous in daylight! Like a sparkly shiny mess! I can see using it as a highlighter but I am sticking to the original for daily face foundation.
