I am a newbie to ISONOMERS. I ordered the recent special containing body products. I noticed that the Glutathione serum and "Desert" moisturizer are also offered for the face.

My question is would it be alright to use these 2 products from this kit on the face? Is there that much difference between the facial version and the body version?

TIA

The desert youth you can use on face and body. Isomers has a glutathiosome serum for face, eyes and body and I think Manuela said on air that the body serum is not for the face. Isomers' phone number is on all of their products and they are very good about answering questions about their products. Hope this helps.

weren't there some fragrant oils in the body serum? If so you don't want to put that on your face

I use Isomers body products on my face all the time with no problem. I actually bought three of that kit, mostly to use on my face. The glutathiasome serum has fantastic ingredients in it, including the copper P ingredients. I have used the one specifically for the face, and it made my skin so "fresh" looking. Great for scar healing and firming. I have broken capillaries too, so the caffeine in it helps to lessen their appearance. I can't afford to keep buying the one for the face, so jumped on this deal. The body cream has a definite fragrance, but since it is from natural oils it did not upset my skin. I received mine two days ago and have been using all of the products with no adverse reaction so far. I am putting a note on their fb page to ask if these oils have AHA capabilities, and if they should then only be used at night if used on the face. I will report back with their reply. I've been using them all on my arms too, and showing a small improvement in crepiness already! I'm impressed! The fragrance is very light and clean, which I really like too. It was such a bargain price for the quality. Wish I could have stocked up even more! I tried the scrub on my face yesterday first thing, and tho the particles were a bit large, it was very nice. Had to rinse quite a bit, but I always do that with any scrub. Manuela did say during the shows that the scrub was OK to use on the face, in answer to a callers same question. Enjoy! :-)

Thanks for the replies. I, too, received mine a couple days ago, and used them on my face. (not the body lotion in the bigger bottle or the body dry oil spray) Do you put those on your face? I loved the scrub for my face, chest, and arms. Those were the main areas I bought this kit for. I have a lot of sun damage and am hoping these products will give an improved look to those areas.

I am anxious to hear back what you found out about the oils. I don't do FB or I would check for myself. Do you think the glutathiasome serum for face and body are the same? If so, this kit was quite a bargain.

Thanks again for replying.

The formulations are different on the serums, but Isomers has such a high load factor and great ingredients that I have no qualms using it on my face. The percentage of glutathione is probably lower, but it was such a deal that I just use a little more than I would with the face formula. I did try the body oil on my face after using the scrub yesterday morning, and tho a bit oily at first, I just massaged it in, and it sank in eventually. I probably used way too much, but I spread it down my neck and decolette and shoulders. I may use it mostly as an after sun product. I live on a lake, so also get wind drying me out. I may also try it before bed as a top emollient layer over the Ectoin lotion. Or before...I'll play with it to see which works best for my skin. I'm 54, combo/dry, and prone to acne. That is one thing I like about her line...not one thing I've used has ever made me break out. I stray once in awhile and pay for it with clogged pores and zits. Not a good look with my silver hair! Lol!

Thanks so much for taking the time to post to me. You mentioned that you live on a lake. We had a place on Higgins Lake in Michigan. I remember spending hours on the water. I love being in the sun, but hope I am a bit smarter about sunscreen. I refuse to sit in the shade, though. I am not being naive about how far a skin care product can undo damage, but the skin on my face is pretty good even though I have wrinkling - does that make sense to you? I am soon to be 61 with normal to dry skin. I also try different products and can tell right away if they are going to clog pores or break me out. Nothing like break outs with wrinkles! I am going to try the oil on my face. I use Josie Maran's oil and have never had a problem with break outs. I use her sunscreen everyday and have no problems. It works well under make up, too. You mentioned that you guess that the percentage of glutathione is lower in the body formula than for the face. I would guess it to be the opposite. Perhaps this would be on the FB page also ????

Beautiful day here today - great day to be on the water!!

It's beautiful here too, but very very windy! We probably would be out, but I'm dealing with a nasty migraine. Boooo! I will ask about the %, but don't know if I'll get an answer on that. I liked Josies sunscreen too, but got a ton of Isomers when it was in a sale set last fall, so am using that for now. I'm not familiar with Higgins lake...is that in the U.P.? I'm in S.W. Mchigan near Kalamazoo now, but have vacationed all over Michigan in my lifetime. Unfortunately I can't be in the sun anymore because of meds for an autoimmune disease, but I used to be a sun bunny when younger, even up to a few years ago. I got lucky that I always used SPF on my face, even way back, so have very few wrinkles. If you're concerned with wrinkles and dark spots, I highly recommend Isomers Retiniacin, Matrixyl or Wrinkle Viper, and their Relysage line is awesome.

I will make a note of those products. I really think I am going to like this line! Does she tend to come every couple months or so?

Higgins Lake is in the middle of the "mitten".....by Grayling, Houghton Lake, Gaylord ??

We sold 8 years ago just in the nick of time the way the market was going for real estate, but there always seems to be a demand for lakefront. We now spend our summers in Michigan and winters in Florida- more SUN!!! I, too, have an autoimmune - Hashimotos - but, thankfully there are no sun restrictions with my med.

Very nice "talking" to you!
