I have mentioned here before I am a lipstick wearer as opposed to gloss. Never feel comfortable with that sticky feeling. My lips feel smothered. Anyway, I needed some cleanser from ELF and had some points accumulated, so I took a dive into two lip oils.  Sounded lighter than a gloss.  For 6$ each I grabbed Rose Envy and Red Delicious.  While the color deposit is very light, I'm thinking this is OK and my lips are protected and I don't get that heavy feel.  And I get some color. I wore it out running errands and felt comfortable.  So while I will never give up my lipstick, I'm liking this alternative.  Who knew ha!

@bmorechick  what cleanser did you buy from ELF? I've used cleanser from their Pure Skin line, which is gentle and does a good job.

I never tried a lip oil. I tried a mint gloss from ELF (now discontinued), but it was too sticky and didn't work well. Otherwise, I like most everything from ELF.

@teganslaw I have used the cleanser from their Pure line as well and I like how gentle it is. This time, I grabbed the Holy Hydration Daily Cleanser and the Holy Hydration eye makeup remover.  The cleanser does a great job of removing mascara but I wanted to try the remover and their products are so affordable.  This is my first lip oil and I love ELF anyway, so...   Try it!  I hope you like it if you do.
