@GingerHead  I wouldn't, I find that hairstyle of hers very unattractive and outdated.

It's absolutely not outdated.

Ok, I like you nay sayers honesty...I guess haha.

Well I love it....I love a messy/bedhead look I find it playful and kinda se%y, if I must say.  I know the look isn't for everyone but I love Amy's and Kristen's hair. I'm just not sure how it would translate to someone with hair like mine....unruly, frizzy and hard to manage. Not sure if I'd be trading my easy to put up hair for a pain in my arse!

You can create a messy bob. I do and it looks fantastic. Straight, one length hair is a little dating. It's easy, but like 1970's.

Re: I love Amy's hair tonight....

I read it's going out of style butt that means nothing. I wouldn't wear the styles that are  in

style. I have straight hair, and I'm older. I like my hair off the face so it's always pulled back. I want a style shorter in the front and longer in the back, if it keeps hair out of my face. I don't know if me and my ponytail will ever break up. I was thinking of layers around the face starting at the cheekbone. At least my cheekbones don't have wrinkles. I usually end up with a trim of a inch or two. My hair is thin and fine. I like those bobs with bangs, but probably not on me. Bangs might drive my cukoo.

Awwww....thank you! You're always going to get differing opinions; certainly based on personal preference. I think Amy is absolutely gorgeous and I love her hair. In fact, mine looks pretty much like hers. Its a flattering style...."style" being the operative word. I have a close friend who has long, straight hair (refuses to have it cut or trimmed), and frankly, it looks dated. There's no style to it. I used to have the shoulder length hair that I put up in a ponytail....but it really lacked "va-voom". I had low-lights for dimension. I think you would rock that style and look beautiful! 💖💖

@GingerHead  Don't be afraid to try something new. You may be pleasantly surprised & go shorter the next time.

Re: I love Amy's hair tonight....

@GingerHead  Don't chicken out, you will love that style. I had longer hair and curly/wavy and over 10 years ago I decided to cut my hair into a bob and I have never regreted.  My suggestion is to start out with a layered bob and not real short to see how you like it because it grows out pretty quick.  You will be able to style it in a lot of ways if you get the right cut.  I still have a bob style and I can go curly/wavy or I can get it straight and I could never get it straight when it was long it would always curl up on the ends and never looked good, but with the bob it's looks good.  Another suggestion is make sure you go to a good hairdresser for the cut because not everyone can cut that style but a good hairdresser will give you the style thst works with the type of hair you have.  My hair is not like Amy's but I think that it is an adorable hair style on her.  Go for it, it's only hair and will grow back...life is short....it's only hair.

Re: I love Amy's hair tonight....

Amy always looks great. Fresh and stylish. Her hair suits her well.

  • I have hair similar to Kerstin's. Thick, right below my chin with some chunky layers.

Styles easily and holds til I wash it again. Very easy.
