Me too!! I fell for the hype when Kim Gravel was presenting one of her makeup products- I get it home- and it’s just a glimmer stick, but it’s supposed to be a Chameleon brighting color correct stick. Too late to send back and I’ve learned my lesson.

A lot of lip products I've purchased in the past were because I was still looking for that PERFECT SHADE.

Can anyone relate?

Well, I found it, purchased several, and now all I buy are the occasional three-pack of Chapstick lip balms when new flavors/scents come out.

That's it, I'm done.

I used to have a LOT of cute little lizzards in my yard.    That was BEFORE the crows moved in...

@Desertdi I have lots of lizards, I have to be careful because they sun themselves on the walkway.  Once I accidently stepped on one, I felt soo bad, it ruined my whole week!  My kitty that use to go outside would catch one every now and then, they just let their tails detach and ran away.

The way to keep some control is to upgrade and use higher quality products, which cost more, but IMO last longer, and work better, so you can spend less frequently on a lot of little lower quality make-up items.

Even though I might like the ELF colors, I would never purchase them.

I like lipstick that is healthy for my lips, is strong and does not fade, has a unique color, and comes in the regular lipstick shape, not those skinny sticks.

My personal favorites are Lancome and Estee Lauder.  I like deep reds, and I never wear glosses. 

Husband and I both use Clinique lip repair in Winter at night.

After looking forever, I finally  found a Pacifica® lip balm that was the PERFECT color.    So, wouldn't ya know...they discontinued it.

Those look so pretty and like something I would love!  I am the same way.  I adore lipsticks, glosses, etc.!  I have too many to count and keep saying I will choose a few from my collection and toss the rest and I just can't do it!  It IS an illness - LOL!
