I don't even remember the original color of my hair!  Haven't seen it in almost 40 years.

I used to be able to color/hide the greys every 3 months or so.  Then it became every 2 months, then 6 weeks.  Now it seems I color my hair and I see greys popping out in 2 weeks!  Ugh.  

I use Root Rescue every 3 weeks or so and then do a full color every 6-7 weeks.  I color it myself.  My favorite is the L'Oreal Couleur Experte Express.  It's 2 process w/highlights.  I'll color my hair one day and then the next day I put in the highlights around my face.

Otherwise I use Feria.  Love their colors.  Has anyone tried Schwarzkopf?  I am curious about that product.

@Squirrel Lover  - As a few others have mentioned, I think you should consider low lights.  Have your hair stylist put some of the darker blonde in your hair (low lights) to balance out the highlights.
